The staff was very nice, and the Manager even honored a buffet breakfast price that was no longer available.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Christie69 Love the renovations
My husband and I haven't been to the hotel since the renovations were done. The lobby looks beautiful, where we enjoyed a wonderful cocktail hour. Food was terrific and all staff were friendly and courteous. The room we stayed in was on the first floor and I was a little weary but when we went in it was also done gorgeous and ended up being very quiet considering its location. Thanks for a great night away we will surely return!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at your hotel. I could not really find any fault at all. The room was beautifully decorated and beds were so very comfy. Staff was very courteous and helpful and the hotel was very clean and decorated in very good taste.
I look forward to coming back again. Thank you.

The CP Suffern staff really takes pride in the services they offer, always going the extra mile. When a rare situation arises it is corrected immediately and with a smile. The shuttle service with superdriver Drew is a major convenience and greatly appreciated.
Always a great stay at the Suffern CP!

I was curious was the Crown Plaza would be like - the last time I was in Suffern, this property was a Holiday inn.
This location is right off the highway, and close to some local eateries.
Well, it was a definite improvement. The beds, linens, toiletries were all top notch. I could live in the shower - it was lovely.
There used to be a pool inside the main atrium area, no longer. I didn't miss the screaming kids and omnipresent clorine smell one bit. In its place was a nice open area with lots of large comfy chairs for lounging/socialising. Near the bar too. Could have used some more staff to wait on people in this area - there was just one person behind the bar the entire weekend, that I could see.
The function rooms are at the other end from the guest rooms, so although there were some events going on while I was there, my room was very quiet.
My radio didn't work, and I think there was supposed to be a bar fridge in the room; this was absent. I would've also liked to have been able to purchase the sample lotions that were provided next to the bed (relaxation creams, etc).
We had the (expensive $16) breakfast buffet each morning - was there an option to just have oatmeal, or fruit, etc? Not sure. Standard buffet breakfast items, self serve.
Free wifi too, FTW!
Overall, I'd stay there again, no question.
