We really enjoyed our stay here, had a great room(corner room) with views from all 4 windows(including bathroom) and balcony.
Breakfast was very good.
The pools were excellent after a swim at the beach which is only a short stroll away.
The hotel is easy to find and to access when driving with good underground parking.
All in all, a top spot.
PS. Try the little Vietnamese restaurant across the road(highway) great value and delicious food. You won't be disappointed.

Arrived 3 hours early and the rooms was not ready (not that we expected it to be), however the reception staff, Jenae & Danielle, were fantastic. They made us feel very welcome, allowed us to use the facilities whilst we waited and then called us when the room was ready.
The service was outstanding, with the staff being very attentive. Breakfast was included and the choice was great, even for the more discerning eaters. Chefs would cook eggs to order and were most helpful. The wait staff in the dining room were great (Royce and Azizi), explaining how everything worked.
Rooms were always clean and plenty of towels provided. The hotel is located between Cavill Ave and Broadbeach, so if you don’t might a 15 min stroll it’s in a great location. We certainly couldn’t complain.
Although we won’t be travelling again until mid-2014, this will be the first place we look at staying.
Check out the deals they offer, for the 8 nights we stayed I considered it to be great value.

I have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years - usually with stays longer than 10 days. This time I was given a room with broken air-conditioning, The night manager came up and opened and slammed the sliding door to try and fix it?? (at approx 10pm at night) I had to sleep in another room for the night and on the second day had the option to change rooms or get the air-con fixed. I changed rooms - The problems I found with the new room were - curtain railing was falling down (I fixed it), Many insects near the coffee cups and through the bathroom, cobwebs in the ceiling corner, the toilet would only half flush and the safe needed to be fixed. The room was across from the service entrance and this door would slam at least 50 times a day. In fact ALL doorjams could have been serviced as the room next to us would have its door slammed often. I ran from the hotel each day and when I returned, tired, sore feet etc, the room was not serviced often (past 3pm). One day I put the sign out as I was tired, housekeeping rang and woke me to see if I wanted room serviced. I also ordered drinks by the pool and the barmaids looked crabby I was told to wait for them while my shorts dripped water all over the floor.
There is more but I'm now glad to be home....sorry! Not recommended - BTW I got nothing from being a Priortity Club member!

We had a very pleasant stay and loved the Four Winds 360o Floating Restaurant.
Fantastic value for my son whose birthday it was and turning 12 years old and a buffet for $32.00 was great value!! This made his birthday 12 times better.Heaps cheaper than Hoggies which was the other option.
Excellent view and reception friendly and attentive. Great room.
****** 6 stars to staff for going that extra mile. Thankyou!

I had a great deal of difficulty with my initial booking through the priority club website and was not expecting a great stay because of this. They charged me over the prices quoted and would not listen to my side of the argument when I tried to invoke their 'guarantee'. Instead Priority Club directed me to approach the Hotel directly. I could not speak more highly of the Crowne Plaza Surfer's Paradise. The staff was understanding and made every effort to make me feel a valued customer. I was compensated for my problems with an upgrade to an oceanview room which was roomy and had a fabulous view of the water. They also comped us breakfast for the whole family. I was so impressed with the service and quality of the room, we decided to stay another 4 days and booked directly with the hotel to avoid any other issues!
Good for you Crowne Plaza and particularly the General Manager who wrote to us to personally apologise for any difficulties we may have encountered. I will not only stay again but will tell everyone I know.

The overall experience was good. The pool is nice, the breakfast is great. The one thing I wasnt impressed with though was the food when ordering room service. For me that was below average.

We had a relaxing stay at Crowne whether it be by the pool , the room or the restaurant. Situated on the southern end of Surfers which is a good location. ( also walking distance to Broadbeach)
Very close to the beach & surf which blended well. Room comfortable.

We are a Senior Brisbane Couple who spent 5 days at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise. We found everything to be great, Clean Room, Good food, Wonderful Staff, Great Position for us as we could walk to both Surfers and Broadbeach or catch a Bus from almost outside the Hotel. We had a room on a high floor with the best views of both the River and the Ocean. We had a very relaxing time and would stay there again without hesitation.

Our first time trip to GC (26/11-01/12/12) with unsecured feeling turns out to be love at the first sight when we step into the hotel. The people, the place and everything was so pleasent and smooth. Great view from the hotel room and superbs service provided. Will definately come back again.

The 5 day stay on the Gold Coast was outstanding, the food (wow), staff service and the location all added to an extremely worthwhile 2012 DattaAUS conference.
I enjoyed the simple 15 minute walk to Broadbeach or Surfers and being just near the Casino and Pacific Fair shopping centre was an added bonus. Very central to everything, with the beach less than 3 minutes away.
What more could you need.

We have been to this hotel on several occasions and always enjoyed the experience.
Food, room and service all good.
One gripe is the television programs that are available F.O.C. for guests. I really think you could throw in a few movie channels as was the case in a far more modest establishment we stayed at in Coffs Harbour.

I always stay at this hotel and usually have a wonderfull experience. This time was not the same. I ordered room service for dinner and breakfast, and by the time it got to my room both meals were stone cold, which was rather dissappointing. I ate my diiner as it was late and I was hungry after a long drive. The majority of the breakfast stayed on the tray, as it was unedible. I also had a maid throw out personal items whilst she did her general clean and tidy. Although the items were recovered and I was treated very well by the Duty Manager, it still stands to reason that service staff should not touch guests personal items, let alone "accidentally" throw them out in the trash. I am hoping that my next experience at this hotel will be to its usual excellent standard, however this time, it was nothing like it.

G'day! Once again a very enjoyable stay in a very high standard hotel; fantastic location; brilliant views from, and extensive menu/wine within, the only revolving restaurant in Queensland; topped off with very pleasant and professional staff: especially Lucy at Front Desk, with Mark in the Four Winds Restaurant.

Room was great. Frequently serviced well kept. Hotel not easy to get to.... No way to turn into have to use lights frequently. Staff at concierge friendly and approachable along with bar/ restaurant staff. Reception staff weren't overly friendly. No Smiles. Hotel outside Looks dated. Pool very nice but the spas were broken while we were there.

My husband enjoyed a 4 night stay here for our daughters wedding.
From the moment we entered our room we were in awe. The view from the balcony of our 17th floor room was amazing, the beach and surrounding high rise buildings and a view of the hinterland from the massive bathroom.
Very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Buffet breakfast was great, catering for everyone. Piano bar was a nice touch, be sure to have a Toblerone cocktail for a real treat.
Would definitely return to this hotel in a heart beat.
We could not fault it!

Usually a trip to the Gold Coast would involve a hire car but we decided to test what else the coast had to offer. We found that the staff were very helpful and forward with giving us information and organising anything that we requested. This made the whole trip north much easier for both us as parents and our two young children.

Have been coming to Crowne for about 5 or 6 years. Go nowhere else. Always courteous staff, clean rooms and great service at restaurant. Maps always available and staff to advise best places to go. Gym caters for all levels of fitness and the hot spa is absolutely the best. Well done Crowne.

Room was great, large and spacious, king ocean view, spa room. :) very special. I would not recommend room service, as the breakfast... Home made pancakes for $28.... Do not recommend... We are 100% sure they are woolworths pikelets... Was not worth the money at all. Not impressed. Next morning we went and had buffet breakfast... Was fantastic...

Clean comfortable room and bed. For some reason there were weird loud intermittent noises emanating from above the air conditioning grill just inside the doorway of my room throughout the night which resulted in a very poor nights sleep. As I didn't have the air conditioning turned on I have no idea what was causing the noise. This problem would put me off staying here again even though everything else was good. Reception desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Every trip we take into the Gold Coast, we stay at Crowne. Crowne has two towers, Gold is newer but the orginal gives high quality value as well. The revolving restaurant is outstanding, 5 star food, romantic candle lit dinning with breathless views. For any occasion, Indulgent Spa is located near reception and offers special treats. We experienced a wonderful massage and a foot pedicure, just what the doctor ordered. I absolutely would recommend this facility, as you won't be disappointed.
