not a good sleep

I went to Toronto the night before a conference to not deal with awful delayed stop and go traffic getting to the city first thing in the morning and so I could get more sleep. Thankfully I take my pillow everywhere so I didn't try sleep with the ones provided. The mattress was hard with no pillow top so I could feel the springs. Also the lack of proper blankets meant I was cold and uncomfortable and barely slept. The planes flying overhead were pretty loud as well. I've stayed at other hotels in the airport vicinity but never heard them quite as loudly as I did during this stay. The room decor is also not what I would call 3.5*. 

The front desk staff member who checked me in was extremely pleasant and helpful. Perfect first point of contact. Too bad the rooms don't measure up to the same standard. 

As a side note I don't normally post reviews like this but since my sole reason for staying in Toronto for the night was to get a good night's sleep close to my morning's venue. That is exactly what I didn't get. Very disappointing experience.

Small rooms bed was OK

We stayed there on a stop over from Halifax that Air Canada paid for.

This was one of the worst places that we stayed at. We were put in a room that was half cleaned.
