Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, but could be so much better Pros: Nice pool, nice bathing area, staff, rooms, breakfast. Cons: no recognition of Platinum status, no upgrade offered (Did ask) despite later finding out that upgrade rooms available, lack of sun beds is simply not acceptable for a supposed 5* hotel, snacks are very expensive - 14 Euros for a Club sandwich that came out as two quarters and half a portion of chips; who puts beef in a Club sandwich?? Not impressed. This hotel could be so much better with a few little tweaks. Lots of people coming down at 9am to get a sun bed to find that all have been "booked" out. Hotel, when full, will have 600 people staying and with only 180 beds and some "Fat Boys" bags this simply is not good enough. Such a shame July 28, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Over priced This is the most disappointing Crowne Plaza we have stayed at. For the price we expected total luxury and what we got was a very basic hotel. The room was small and the air conditioning was set to high for sleeping. This is the first time we would not recommend an IHG hotel. July 26, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location, spacious rooms, clean NOT 5* Chose this hotel as we needed to stay some extra time in Vilamoura. We stayed in Deluxe room with views over Vilamoura. Rooms are spacious and clean. NO TEA/COFFEE making facilities in the room - THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A 5* HOTEL!!! Some staff are friendly, helpful but generally, staff are not acting as a 5* hotel. You have to pay an extra €10 per day to use the indoor pool and spa! On top of the huge nightly rate. This is disgusting. We certainly will not be returning and will seriously considering whether we stay in IHG hotels in the future. July 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding! Probably one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed in. The staff were very friendly and so helpful. The pool area was very clean and sunbeds were available up to 9am during our stay. There was complimentary fruit served round the pool in the afternoon which was a very nice touch. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We only booked breakfast during our stay and this was very impressive with a very wide range of food available with lots of room in the restaurant either inside or outside .Overall a very impressive stay in a first class hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. July 24, 2014
