Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect location I found the situation of allowing guests to reserve sun loungers by leaving towels or other items when not occupied unacceptable in my opinion. The hotel is described as non smoking but there was a regular smell of cigar smoke through the ventilator in the bathroom. Apart from these niggles the breakfast was excellent with a good supply of fresh fruit. September 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Luxury and Relaxing Corner of the Algarve This hotel is an excellent place to stay with it's large pool and manicured lawns to layout and relax on. Only 10 min walk from the marina, restaurants and night life if required this is a really good place to stay for a really relaxing stay. The rooms and facilities are excellent and really well maintained on a day to day basis give us a completely stress free stay. September 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Addional things welcomed 1)There needs to be a mirror somewhere in the room not just in the bathroom. 2) had coffee machine but no coffee , tea , milk or cups (very odd) 3) Internet in room was very poor 4) early flight home breakfast could only be taken in the room and was charged extra for less selection. Very poor I would like some feed back and maybe a consideration should we return instead of going back to our usual hotels of either theTivoli or The lakes September 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by worst service ever!!! I can honestly say I have never received poorer service from a 5* hotel in fact I have received better from a 2*. From check in to check out the staff in these hotel were bad they really do need training in every department and more so in food and beverage. when checking out I was waiting on the Guy asking did you enjoy your stay! Not a word so when I paid my bill he said thank you and I said this was the worst service I had ever received in a hotel he said "Thank You" I asked do you know what I just said ? he replied "yes I speak English" now that speaks for its self in any language. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly but questions to be asked Hotel staff need to address the situation with regard to the placing of towels on the sun beds by the pool early each morning. Many remain empty for a considerable time and this is synonymous with lesser Hotels. I see many complaints having been made in this regard and nothing is being done to address this. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room kept clean, however after nine hours away and returning to the Hotel ten minutes before five in the afternoon to find the room not made up, is not acceptable. Having to pay to have coffee in the room is not acceptable for a Hotel of this standard The Hotel appears unwilling or unable to address the noise caused by mainly local children in the room corridors at night. Breakfast was very good. The Hotel sadly does not meet with expecations. September 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Hotel We had a wonderful stay at this Hotel, but they do not have enough sunbeds, as usual towels were left on the beds all day and no-one near them for hours, so if a sunbed is important to you then you will have to get up very early to claim one, as for us we didn't bother we just bought two deckchairs and an umbrella and went to the beach when it suited us. The area is lovely, the beach bar is very expensive and the service very slow but these things wouldn't put us off going back as there are plenty of other places to eat. It's worthwhile paying extra for a junior suit you get a lovely balcony and a full pool and sea view, it was beautiful. September 8, 2014
