I am frequency stay in the hotel and i found the breakfast become worse and worse even I dropped my comments couple of times. The latest issue is it only have ONE coffee maker and peoples line up for a cup of coffee and i dont know why they dont provide the coffee pot as they did.

Having stayed in a number of hotels there is no way that the Crown should have a 5 star rating.

(1) Top manager (GM) to get feedback in person tof improvement, I am confident the new GM will improve the service quality level.
(2) Gym and indoor swimming pool have extended opening hours.
(3) Good service at 6 floor lounge
Areas for improvement
(1) Breakfast at the 2 nd floor was chaotic as there are tourist group . long queque and unorganised for cook to order food.
(2) Thailand was neither good value for money nor acceptable quality at a 5 star hotel.
(3) Lack of international newspaper at the lounge.
(4) Requirment of payment in advance as declared and insisted by front desk which never happen to me as a Platinium member for last ten years in global stay at IHG hotel.

I cant believe an international brand hotel without WiFi services even in the business center at floor 16 the signal transimssion speed was extremely low. It was a nightmare experience especially for business trip!!! (May be is the worst hotel i ever stay)
It seem the options never change since a year ago. Personally, i think the breakfast from KFC or Macdonald are much better than Crowne Plaza and they cost RMB$ 15 only.
It provided disco light effect in my last stay with Crowne Plaza.
(Light in the toilet was flashing, light on the desk was flashing...etc)

Having stayed at the more modern IHG hotels in the Guangdong area, I found that this hotel is comparatively inferior in a number of aspects, for example, transportation, concierge service, atmosphere and ambiance, probably because of the certain length of time it has been established.
The PointBreaks offer was still fine but the other choice in Zhongshan may be much better if I would travel in the area next time.
Overall, the experience was just acceptable and I am looking forward to improved services, environment and supporting facilities in the very near future.

Crowne Plaza (Xiaolan) never make me down every times when i stay in the hotel their staff always understand my requirement / expectation especially for the front desk staff, they are nice and helpful.
In my last stay when I checked out the front desk girl proactrively help me to reserve room for my next visit as she recongised I am frequency visitor.

the staff makes all the difference.
The Club Lounge Staff, Darren, jenny, and Kelly are very good and try very hard to make my stay pleasant.
room air conditioning needs help.
definite decline of restaurant on 2nd floor.
