Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bigur The best hotel in local township
The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The hotel accomodates a lot of group tourists, who could be very noisy and unmannered sometime.
The hotel restaurant is very pricy giving the fact that the hotel is located in a rather rural area in Zhongshan.

Crowne Plaza always on my top group of hotels whenselecting accomodation during business travel. Zhong Shan Crowne Plaza located inconvenient spot and close to restaurants, amenities and shops.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MHocutt Great hotel in a great location!
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were all very nice and knowledgeable with all questions that I had. The rooms were excellent and serviced properly every day. I could not have been happier with this experience!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Terminator Quality is getting worse
I have been coming to this hotel for 4 years now and I can say it the hotel is getting very cheap. They give you one bar of soap and one partial roll of toilet paper. It seems they are trying to save little money when they charge a lot of money for the rooms. One staff member told me the gym was closed and the other opened it without a problem. The air conditioning seems to be turned off or on low most of the time in the lobby and the room air is marginal to say the least.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by PCDROUIN Room invasion in the early morning !
After more than 20 years of travels in PRC this is the first time I have such a BAD experience in an accommodation of that level.
Sometimes in the early morning, finally sleeping like a rock due to extreme fatigue of the intensive travels, the black outs are on, I am dead asleep.
In a moment all of that changed when suddenly the door opens and a man storms into my room and yells something I can't understand!!
THAT wakes you up I can tell you! The split second that my brains need to get all the pieces together, A MAN ENTERED MY ROOM ! so I start yelling at him and get on my guards. And off he goes as quickly as he entered...
What the happened?!, jump off my bed ready to kick his bottom, get a robe on and storm out of the room, nobody there except a man in the distance, I start to curse at him and all he says is ： 没事 没事。。。and walks off.
My heart was pumping and the adrenalin flowing, I almost died in there, scariest moment ever !
Call the front desk, all they say is sorry sorry and hang up. Got my senses back together, no need to say that it is impossible to get back to sleep, moments later I get to the front desk, nobody can tell me anything, I ask for the GM; he is supposedly out, I ask for the Room division mng; he is gone I am told, ask for anyone of authority and I finally get the front desk mng, that has no clue what I am talking about.
I then go and pack and on my way out he tells me that yes, the house keeping went in the wrong "checked out" room. Dear lord, I thought that is why there are numbers on the doors !!! And that was is, a ton of sorry sorry sorry, but this is not what I expected of a hotel of this level.
Very Very bad experience and foremost, handling of it.
