I stayed at your hotel for 2 nights on Club Floor. Although it is a nice hotel, it's services are not up to standard for Crowne Plaza :
1. Food & Drink were rather poor at the club (had to ask for a glass)
2. There was no breakfast so I had to go to the restaurant
3. In the evening I ordered 3 different wines from you menu before
the finally did have the 4th one!! That took almost an hour!
I would suggest to improve these points. Not having breakfast in your lounge because there are not sufficient guest is not the guest's (my) problem. I have already paid for the services.......

I have stayed at this hotel several times and without fail, I am completely rested and recharged each time. Their rooms are very comfortable and tastefully done, the walls are thick so you don't hear any noise at all. Their beds are just heavenly.
Food - Chinese restaurant was delicious especially their signature dim sum and green vegetables (which come from local organic farms). However, the western restaurant was a disappointment. Buffet was fine, loved the fresh noodles / pasta station but the a la carte menu needs some serious polishing.
The highlight was a 2-hour spa treatment. Again the room was extremely spacious with a private shower and toilet. Lighting, decor, ambiance and massage were perfect.
I ventured into town for the first time and the hotel turned out to be much closer to the center than I thought. A 10-minute cab ride (about RMB14) to the shops and movie theaters.
Looking forward to my next stay and massage.

I had stayed in this hotel several times. Quality of hotel rooms was acceptable. However, quality and variety of food in restaurants were far from satisfactory. Its buffet breakfast was not to the standard that would be expected for this grade of hotel. Its Chinese restaurant was excellent at the very beginning but I observed that its standard was going down as time went by. The club lounge services was also far from adequate as compared with other Crowne Plaza (CP) hotels. Besides, hotel staff did not understand the priviledges of platinum member correctly and appropriately. Complimentary room upgrade policy was also a mess and no two staff could tell exactly the same things (the situation did not improve even though I called them last week). I also noted that, when replying to guests' comments. Rennie failed to address the guests' real concern but just "copy and paste" a standard reply instead. This is not what a CP hotel should perform. I hope that my message can be brought to the attention of the top management of CP Zhongshan for making substantial and comprehensive improvements in all areas so that the hotel's quality can tally with the hotel's star rating. I shall stay in this hotel next time in Zhongshan only because there is no other IHG hotels nearby.

My third stay in this hotel which I used to consider it as good value, but disappointed in this stay due to
1. Bad internet connection.
2. Room air-conidtioning was not working properly, smell from restaurant and too hot.
3. Dinner buffet at coffer shop was bad, both in term of food quality and variety.
Will come again and hope to see an improvement.
