Second stay in two months

I have enjoyed both stays at this particular hotel.
Both rooms provided a great overlook of the Potomac River.
The rooms are always very clean and nice.
The staff are also very courteous and kind.
On occasion my guest and I had to endure the noise made by other guests staying at the hotel, either by guests allowing their doors to slam when exiting the room or loud, excessive chatter at the elevator or conference room, (if you are on the same floor of one of the meeting centers and your room is within close proximity of either.)
On either occasion the noise happened so late at night or extremely early in the morning for a weekend (I usually stay at this hotel on Friday or Saturday nights) that I honestly don't feel like getting up to call the front desk regarding the noise.
Fortunately it doesn't last very long and I am able to sleep peacefully right after.

Not up to the usual Crowne property standards

Property is run down and the bed was no where near the usual quality at a Crowne Plaza property.

Very Uncomfortable Bed.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress was hard and sinks in the middle. Room Service trays stayed outside on the floor for the entire day. Smells from the trays were unpleasing as you walked down the hall. Coffee packet was already opened at the top of the packet.
