The worst front desk ever

My overall experience at this location was fairly good with exception of the font desk service. It was the worst front desk experience I've had. The receptionist was extremely impatient and looked quite grumpy. Soon after I got in the room I called the front desk to ask for a toothbrush but no one answered. I called for at least 3 times but heard nothing. Then when I walked down to the front desk and the guy was on a private call. I waited for over 2 minutes until the guy realized I was waiting for some services. Other than this experience the hotel is comfortable and very roomy, which made up some good impressions I had as a loyal club member.

I had to use the Plaza for a few nights because the "Conference" hotel was booked. I should have stayed there the entire trip.

Was not what I expected

Lets start with what I was pleased with. It was across the street from the hotel my conference was held at- so very convenient. It was walking distance from the mall. And the breakfast was spectacular!

Now the let downs:
I informed the front desk associate that I did not want anyone to have the ability to charge anything to the room. This happened anyway.
The bed sheets had black smudges on the them. We weren't able to get new sheets until the next morning.
The shower/tub combo water took a long time to go down the drain- so while taking a shower you had to stand in water up to your ankles.
The iron did not work so I went to my conference everyday with wrinkles. Lastly the front desk associate who checked me in definitely was not trained properly. Dealing with her then and during checkout was very upsetting.
