Overpriced and dirty

I felt the Hotel was extremely overpriced for the room and the service received. The floor in the room was never cleaned during the stay. The water pressure was terrible and the water was lukewarm at best. At night, it could get loud and there was a constant noise like pipes were banging, making it difficult to sleep. The air conditioner seemed to not work correctly at times. The pillows were awful and the beds just felt dirty (although it could have been due to my feet being black from the floor being so dirty - I could never tell). The hairdryer worked only part of the time and the television service was pathetic. So, those are the things that made me dislike my stay. The lobby and front desk staff were great. The pool area was decent, but could use some work (chairs with holes in them). The pool staff was good as well.

large comfortable room with great view

This was my second stay at this hotel and I have not been disappointed either time. Most recently I stayed 4 nights for a business meeting held in the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, with a lovely balcony and view to the ocean. Room service was efficient and tasty. Two slight negatives: 1) I had a terrible flu and wanted to see the hotel doctor, but I was told the hotel does not have a hotel doctor - very unfortunate. They did offer to recommend a doctor nearby and order a taxi. Luckily one of the doctors at the medical meeting was able to help me. 2) Two of the lamps in the room did not work, one was even missing a bulb. I didn't bother mentioning it to the hotel desk. All in all I was happy with the hotel and would definitely stay there again as well as recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.

Manager rude

I had a room booked for my family which I had pre paid
I didn't click on the AAA discount and I didn't get
The original discount when I asked the manger she said there
Was nothing she could do being it was pre paid- REALLY
NOTHING ??!! - why not offer a modest discout for their
Restrarnut or a few passes for a beverage
I'm also a iHG points member and all I get is
No - I'll think agAin before I Book

Average bed comfort

Next door guests were smoking all night absolutely ruining that nights sleep! Staff says they will be fined but I just wanted them to tell them to stop smoking!! Not convinced that ever happened.
