Great Experience

For a hotel located along a major highway, noise suppression is excellent. I have nothing negative to say about my experience here. The environment inside the hotel is very relaxing and the bar is second to none!

Not Impressed

I am not impressed. This was my first Crowne Plaza Suites stay. When I arrived my reservation could not be found, after 5 minutes of discussion between the front desk and manager I was finally given my room. Not a big deal, but a rare and strange occurrence with IHG. The room was a King Executive Suite. It was a huge room, a little too big. The TV in the living area is placed in the corner, off centered from the couch without an option to swing from the wall....useless. The bed linens were clean and fresh and the bed was a terrific sleep. The bathroom was updated and included a jetted tub and standing shower. The room was clean, but I am not a fan of the new trend of housekeeping asking for tips. They include a feedback form, but when filled out they leave it and take the cash. Purpose is clear. I always tip housekeeping, but reduce the tips when they're asked for. I know this is a trend with some chains, but it needs to stop. First time I've seen it with IHG.

Second morning there was no hot water....for nearly 2 hours. Unacceptable. I didn't bother to engage the management, a look on the hotel's website mentioned other occurrences so it is clear the management hasn't addressed this. Any hotel that can't maintain supply of water at 5:45am is clearly outdated.

PROS: Fantastic Wi-Fi, dining, bar, size of rooms
CONS: Hot Water, pushy housekeeping

Dear Guest Thank you so much for taking the time to write your survey. I was appalled to hear that you did not receive the quality of service thousands of our loyal guests have come to expect from us and would like to assure you that what you experienced was a rare exception rather than the rule. The hot water issue was caused by a power surge that knocked out the booster pump and rest assured, situations such as this is an extremely rare occurrence and was corrected within a couple of hours. While I am glad that you were upgraded to our executive suite at no additional charge, I have shared your comments with our Housekeeping manager for remedy. I am confident that your future stay here or at another one of our Intercontinental hotels will be much more enjoyable. Regards Michael Udayan GM

Great Stay

Great service.
Great Food
Lounge area and service were great as well.
Very clean room with plenty of space.
Wonderful Staff.
I have stayed at this location for business and pleasure.
I plan to stay at this location in the future and have told others about the cleanliness a, service and food.
There is a Salt Grass Restaurant beside this hotel and I chose to eat at the hotel.
