In Need of A Major Renovation

While your staff was very polite and the location was good for LA, the hotel is in need of a desparate renovations. The bathroom was in poor shape - mildewed tiles, old shower curtain and cracked soap dish. The elevators was also very old and run down. Lastlym carpets and paint were in poor condition. I would not recommend tis hotel in its current condition.

In need of update

Stayed at previous Crowne Plaza's and this one was quite different. Presentation of CP lobby was fine. Elevator area was tight and congested if more than 8 people waiting or baggage cart coming through. Rooms were disappointing, small and run down. Bathroom was small and door meets up against the bed. Bathroom fan would be helpful in this case if one has to sleep near the toilet. Toilet paper holder metal rusting, mold and water staining starting in corner of walls and along ceiling where shower is located. Wall paper starting to peel. Beds are very close together, little room to move. Hole in wall size of my fist where carpet tacks are coming off. Put suitcase up against hole in case we had a little visitor which was no the case. Room felt tight, dingy and run down. Breakfast buffet and staff were good. Options for Soya milk, greek yogurt and quinoa appreciated.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Save yourself the hassle that I went through, and DO NOT STAY HERE.

I checked into this hotel for the weekend on my birthday. I was awoken the next morning by very loud hammering right above me. I called the front desk and was transferred 3 times before someone admitted that there was construction going on above me. I had a late night and needed my sleep, but got close to NONE due to this constant hammering. I requested to be moved and they gave me a room 3 floors down, the next morning I could STILL hear the hammering. The hotel staff didn't even apologize. There was NO signage anywhere stating there would be construction, nor was there any care from the staff to avoid putting me anywhere near the loud construction or mitigating the problem.

The furniture and fixtures are VERY DATED.
The mattresses are OLD and not comfortable.
Bathroom layout is very odd and inconvenient.
The internet is too slow to be of any use. I had to use my cell phone as a hot spot.

DO NOT STAY HERE.
