It was my first night in Crowne Plaza and I was blown away with the greatness of it all. Great, clean room with lots of space and everything worked perfectly. Only the breakfast could have included more bread in my opinion. But it did fill me enough no the less.
I'd recommend this hotel to all my friends and colleagues.

Excellent accommodation and good service

Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was immaculately prepared, quiet and comfortable. Complimentary items were of good quality though I was disappointed that the coffee in the room was instant only - but the tea was fine.
Evening meal was enjoyable and decent value without being a gastronomic treasure. Buffet breakfast was good, tasting better than it looked.
Negatives? Well, staff were a bit thin on the ground though always pleasant and helpful when asked anything. And my shower was of the wet room design, nothing wrong with that but the timber door surround was rotten at the Base and needed repair.

Good but pity about the breakfast

The staff were great as usual. Didn't get a club room this time but the room we had was very nice anyway. Great nights sleep..IHG really do well when it comes to comfort of bed and pillows. Breakfast was not the best. I usually really enjoy it but this time the sausages tasted off and most of the rest was a little dry as if it had been left too long on the hot plates
