Friendly staff, clean rooms and great location!

Stayed with my daughter from Thu night thru Mon AM. The front desk staff was very friendly during the check in. The room was very clean and well furnished. Also used the concierge desk to get museum tickets and arrange for the airport shuttle. Concierge was very helpful and also very friendly. Was impressed overall with the friendliness of staff - a surprising since this was NY! Also loved the location of the hotel - just step out directly into Times Square for easy access to subways, theatre as well as good restaurants. The good location was nice given it was very cold the weekend we were there. The only drawback was the walls and room door seemed very thin as we were able to hear the hallway noise as well as next door from time to time...

Excellent location and superb service!

We stayed in two room categories: the standard King and a Jr. Suite and both offered great value for the money. The King is a good-sized room for Manhattan. And the Junior Suite was perfect for meeting clients on this, a business trip. The rooms were comparable in quality to usually higher-priced properties. Both (on high floors) were quiet. We found the air conditioning a bit inconsistent between the two rooms which were on different floors; the temperature we wanted didn't seem to ever get there in the suite, but that's not an unusual occurrence, particularly in New York. But what really stood out at the hotel is the courteous and attentive staff--from porters, to the front desk and the bar and restaurant, everyone was a genuine pleasure! The restaurant serves a respectable breakfast buffet with a fantastic view overlooking Time Square. One wonders why it isn't open for dinner? We will definitely be back!

NOt what I expected

Very upsetting experience. I have stayed here multiple times before for work and this time wanted to treat my son to a night in NYC. I was excited to upgrade my room to a corner room with views and for him to experience amenties such as room service. The location is perfect and the front desk staff are very helpful and pleasant.

Unfortunately the room was less than par from what I have had before. It was extremely loud up until 1am with the people next door feeling like they were in the room with me. When I called guest services for the 2nd time I was spoken to in a rude tone. Needless to say we got no sleep - the room also had a window that was leaking - and they discontinued room service the week before which should have been noted on my reservation.

Good Location - Awful Hotel

This hotel is completely below IHG standards. Quality of rooms is bad, outdated and scruffy looking.

Only plus is Location and then again plenty of other options available arround the area.

In short, not worth the money you are paying.
