The hotel is perfectly lovely - in a gorgeous old bank, where they have maintained the character of the building. The staff is outstanding - courteous, helpful, and pleasant.
Rooms are not
particularly luxurious, but efficient, clean, and comfortable. Internet is functional, after you type in a code. The TV is ok, but small compared to what you probably have at home, and some of the channels don't tune in right, and there aren't too many of them.
No dining facilities are on-site, but breakfast is provided. There are eggs, toast, and sausages. Breakfast was fine. The coffee was not very good.
The worst part is simply the location. The hotel is safe - it's right next to a police station - but the neighborhood is run-down, ugly, and there is no dining or entertainment nearby.
For some reason there's a big Chik-Fil-A billboard on the side of the building. It looks trashy. [Less]
