I enjoyed my trip in China, specially because of this hotel, with their kind hospitability and great support, made me easy to handle whole trip in so successful manner. Thank you again for the great[More] service, and it is highly recommended....[Less]
Quiet and convenient location
The hotel is located in a quiet area but it is able to conveniently reach to other parts of Shanghai via subway if you don’t want to pay expensive taxi and stuck in the horrible traffics. The outside[More] hotel looks nice and the room is comfortable. It has free shuttle to subway station in the morning although it is only 10 minutes walking to the Longde Road Station (Line 11). If you want take taxi to the hotel, you better get off Jiangsu Road station (line 2 or 11) about 3km away to the hotel. - Sometimes it is difficult to find a taxi around the Longde Road Station if you don't know which exit you should go.[Less]

Great Room and Location
Perfect location on the river, all around a very good hotel with great value, even by China standards. Staff most pleasant, maybe too many 'good morning's though :)[Less]
Great views - nice place to unwind.
Stayed at this property a couple of times over the past few months.
Location-wise, the hotel is located on the south bank of the Huangpu river front (which means it is in Pudong, technically),[More] reasonably close to the Mercedes Benz Arena, Expo Convention Center and China Art Museum metro stop (flag-on fare for taxis). You may need to plan ahead if you will be visiting other places in Puxi. There is a reminder in the room to plan ahead and arrange for taxis beforehand. For the more adventurous (and with time to kill), you can try the ferry (to Puxi - ends up near the base of Nanpu bridge but you do need to walk a bit) or the local buses (also takes a bit of walking).
The rooms are very nice with floor-to-ceiling windows. Those overlooking the river are excellent. You can spend all day (and night) watching the endless flow of barges and rivercraft going up and down the river.
If you opt for Club, do pay a visit to the Lounge an check out the view from the sitting area! There is even an open area at the other end (again with floor to ceiling glass windows) that opens up on three sides. Watching the sun go down is quite a nice experience. On weekend nights, you can enjoy the pretty lights that the buildings around the Bund turn on.
The staff are generally very helpful and pro-active. Most customer-facing staff are able to speak English or can at least direct you to someone who can.
From a personal point of view, these past stays have been very interesting - some minor issues but mostly addressed.[Less]
