Featured Ashford Hotels

We have two Ashford hotels. One of them sits just a mile from the town centre, while the other enjoys a more peaceful rural location to the North. So whether you want hustle, bustle and quick access to the town's amenities or a somewhat more peaceful escape, we have you covered.

Perhaps you're on business visiting clients at the town's Orbital or Eureka business parks. Or maybe you're looking for a few days away. Whatever the reason for your visit, the town will keep you occupied.

If you've a head for heights, take in the sights of Kent with a hot air balloon ride. Ashford is home to Kent Ballooning, where you can enjoy a ride in the sky and some phenomenal views.

If you'd rather keep your feet firmly on the ground, you could take to some retail therapy at the Ashford Designer Outlet where you can get cut price designer brands. High Street brand aficionados aren't left out either. The town centre's County Square Shopping Centre is where you'll find your favourite High Street retailer.

If time in the great outdoors is more your thing, you might prefer the more rural of our Ashford hotels. You can also get your fix of some beautiful walks by visiting the beautiful Godinton House or the Hamstreet Woods National Nature Reserve.

The town sits just off the M20, but if you'd rather take the train than drive, there are direct services between Ashford and London, Dover, Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate and many other towns and cities.

Whether you're on business or pleasure, we'll make you at home either right in the heart of the town or in a peaceful rural location. Take your pick.

Booked using my reward points for a weekend stay at this hotel in the lovely town on Sittingbourne. Everything was as I expect form a Holiday Inn and to my satisfaction. [Less]
Friendly Staff; Clean and Comfortable Rooms
By Vectis 1
Yet another Holiday Inn that provides great value rooms which, coupled with friendly and helpful staff, ensured an enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning in the near future. [Less]

One night in Rochester

This was not my first visit to this hotel. At reception we were greeted by Davin, and very helpful he was I told him about my difficulty booking the hotel having to speak to America, to someone who [More] could not understand me. It also cost me over £7 for the privilege. I was not sure what I had booked. I only knew I had a room. We were booked in and went off to find our room, and a very long way it was. However it was a recently refurbished room and had a good view of the airport ( well it would have done if one of the windows wasn’t blown )( had moisture in it.) It had a lovely big Television and was well equipped and modern. The trouble I had was the fridge was not working and I needed to keep my eye drops cool. I rang reception and asked for some help. I spoke to Davin and was assured that someone would be right up. A very good and kind person arrived called Peter. He looked at the fridge and found that as I had seen that the control was on full. He then offered a change of room; we went to this room and found that the fridge in this room was the same, no point in moving. He then offered to store the eye drops in the fridge in the bar. I took him up on this very kind offer and all went well. After all this we went for a swim, the pool is great, and the staff very good. This is the best asset the hotel has. I must admit that my wife and I pick out hotels with pools, we both love swimming. We enjoyed our evening meal, the staff were excellent, well worth the service charge. The rest of the stay went well a good night’s sleep and the breakfast was good especially when Peter got me some bread , as I was told by one of the other staff only olive bread and bread for toast was left. Just two points I would like to make just as things you could do to improve things. Only one dressing gown with two people in the room. No toilet roll holder. ( maybe it is not the done thing to have one, or are they on order) All in all we had a good stay in this hotel the staff are the greatest, thought full and efficient. [Less]
(April 2016) Will be good once refurbishment is finished.
By Paul278
The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment - and our room's facilities were somewhat lacking - no towel-rail, no soap / shampoo dish in the shower (all baths appear to be being replaced with showers, so [More] if you like a bath you'd better check before you book), no toilet-roll holder - and no table or coffee-table in the room itself. When we commented about this we were advised that they were experiencing difficulties with their suppliers - but if this is the case one wonders why they haven't obtained a few, 'non-fixture' items from the local B [Less]
Clean and efficient
Clean, efficient and friendly, the hotel was fine for a one night stay. The Art Deco area is intriguing but the bedroom was oddly sterile, with no pictures on the wall to lighten the atmosphere. It [More] would be pleasanter if the hotel maximised the Art Deco feel by making greater reference to it in the decoration throughout the hotel. [Less]
Very comfortable
By gtgrandma
We had an excellent stay in the Holiday Express - although the quilt on the bed was not quite warm enough, but requested another one, which was readily available. The shower base was rather slippery [More] when wet, but apart from that our stay was excellent - staff were very helpful. My daughter has a food allergy and at breakfast a member of the staff checked the ingredients of some items to see whether she could eat them or not. [Less]
