Featured Leicester Hotels

We have two Leicester hotels: one in the city centre and another close to the King Power football stadium. The King Power stadium is home to Leicester City football club and if you're around on a match day, you might choose to buy a ticket and take advantage of the great atmosphere offered. If football's not your thing, however, you might prefer a visit to Welford Road Stadium where you can enjoy a game of rugby instead.

But there's more to Leicester than sport. There are more than half a dozen museums and art galleries, including Newarke Houses, Abbey Pumping Station and Jewry Wall and Archaeology Museum.

Leicester is also home to some beautiful landmarks. Ashby Castle and Belvoir Castle are impressive structures and well worth a visit and a walk around the grounds of both.

Shoppers are catered for in Leicester as well. Close to our most central Leicester hotel, you'll find the Highcross Shopping Centre. Even the keenest shopper might struggle to make it round the hundred plus shops. But if you need a break, the centre also has a number of bars and eateries and even a cinema if you can fit in a film.

It's not difficult to get to Leicester. It's easily accessible from the M1 motorway and the train station has direct services running to a number of UK towns and cities including London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Derby and Sheffield.

So take some time in Leicester and let us help you make the most of it. Book a stay in the city centre or slightly out of town at one of our two Leicester hotels.

Fantastic stay
By Anthony 212

Great renovation has changed this hotel
By DaveyW
I've stayed at this hotel for years under it's various owners and it's been badly in need of a face-lift for some time. Not only have they done that been it's been done superbly and it's not even [More] finished. The reception and bar area are unrecognisable from previous, very up to date and modern, spacious and well laid out. I was upgraded to one of the recently refurbished executive rooms which was equally modern with a great decor, very comfortable bed and well done out bathroom with walk-in shower. This brings me to the only slight negative points. I prefer a choice between bath and shower but there's no bath so that was limited. Secondly, the water pressure for the shower wasn't great so it wasn't the best, this may be due to being on the second floor? These were very small points though in the overall scheme of things. A lovely place to stay for a night out in Nottingham, close enough to the City centre but far enough away to avoid the problems of city centre parking. A definite venue for the future [Less]

By BigRab
Nottingham can be a difficult city to drive round and park. The Holiday Inn is fairly central and local taxis can be used to go out for the evening leaving the car in the secure, free hotel car park. [More] A very comfortable hotel to relax in for the weekend. [Less]
