Featured Stevenage Hotels

We have two Stevenage hotels, both located in the town centre itself, close to the Westgate Shopping Centre. Shoppers can enjoy being within walking distance of this centre, which has scores of High Street retailers and cafes. The town also boasts a centrally located indoor market.

If you'd rather spend time soaking up the fresh air than in shopping centres, then head to the Benington Lordship Gardens. This is a hugely celebrated garden and will make for a beautiful walk and some lovely pictures. Situated on the same site, you'll find a historical castle and house.

Families will enjoy the Church Farm in nearby Arderley. As well as selling fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy produce, children can watch and help with feeding the animals.

There are over a dozen museums and galleries in and around Stevenage. These include Stevenage museum itself, the nearby Hitchin Museum and British Schools Museum.

The town is within easy reach of London, but even for those coming from other places, it's conveniently located. Stevenage sits just east of the A1 and is connected by rail with direct services to London, Peterborough, Cambridge, Leeds and Doncaster.

So if you're going to be enjoying this town, whether for business or pleasure, stay at one of our Stevenage Hotels. With us you can stay within easy walking distance of all the town centre attractions and facilities.

By J9Regular

Booking Advice - not meant for publication
By AdrianPM
Stay here on and off over last 8 years. Had stayed a few weeks before this stay so hadn't completed this review. But...on that previous stay , it had been suggested by receptionist I should call and [More] book (especially to make sure am away from noise if a function is on) , so I did , price was same as hotel website. Made contact tonight to make a next booking, very helpful lady, but price was a few pounds more expensive than web , which , I may be wrong but I thought I'd been told it would be matched if I ring. So I said I would book online and I did , but am afraid with the City Centre Hol Inn - I was having a bit of a sulk. Another time , when I am not sulking, I will return to booking online I'm sure, but I must admit to being a bit puzzled. [Less]
Would not be my first choice
By Andy43I
My colleague experienced issues with his food during the stay, and my room was a little on the cold side. Other than that, it was okay. The website states that there is 'limited' fitness facilities [More] plus off-site facilities. There are no off-site facilities on offer. The building (in parts) could do with some care (wallpaper hanging off due to water ingress). [Less]
Welcome from an old Friend
By cyber-voyager
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years when I have travelled to Milton Keynes for business. The location of the hotel is ideal for reaching the office quickly in the mornings [More] and it is a comforting and welcoming place. The welcome I received from various members of staff was particularly warm and friendly. This included the lady at the check in desk, the restaurant staff and even the hand written welcome card in my room. I really felt that the staff at this hotel were trying "to go the extra mile" to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I stay at a number of hotels over the course of a year, I can state without doubt that its the hotels with great service that will be the most memorable. [Less]
great staff and location, shame the shuttle service is less
By karenett24
I had a great stay for the 4th time at the holiday Inn at Brent Cross. The staff is very friendly and they made the hotel my home away from home. My only disappointment was that unfortunately the [More] hours of the shuttle have been shortened and the service is not available until the afternoon . One main reason why I have already stayed at the hotel is because of the shuttle that is very important in moving around from place to place. I hope the management will change its decision. Also, the speed of the internet was slower that I am used to. [Less]
Friendly hotel staff and comfortable room
By Anton49
Very helpful staff at reception and dining areas. The room was warm and spacious. Bed very comfortable with good pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room. Would need a [More] room safe if staying for more then one night. Overall a very good hotel to stay in. Curtesy bus available if required. [Less]
