With its year-round moderate temperature, nearby beaches, star-studded nightlife, sizzling culinary scene and wealth of world-famous tourist attractions, Los Angeles is one of the world’s greatest and most famous destinations. This sprawling city covers 467 square miles and is home to approximately 140 nationalities of people speaking 224 different languages, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world's movie industry and home to many of the big screen’s biggest celebrities and talents No matter your reason for visiting, IHG has excellent Los Angeles hotels not far from the city’s best local attractions.
Things to See
One of L.A.’s most popular activities is a guided bus tour, which takes groups through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, giving glimpses of the city's major attractions and your favorite stars' homes.
A tour of Universal Studios in Hollywood is a must for movie buffs. Combining a functioning movie studio and amusement park, it has fun rides for the entire family, including Jurassic Park, Transformers 3-D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem rides. Consider downtown L.A. if you want to stay within the city limits without spending a fortune. Nice hotel for a family trip to Disneyland
By vicente3
A clean, kid friendly hotel. We appreciated the refrigerator and the microwave oven in the room. A direct bus stop to Disneyland is right outside the hotel. [Less]
Could not ask for more Friendly staff!!
We had a very short stay at this hotel, tis was for y daughters birthday and was 2 nights and 3 days. We arrived rather late due to flight issues, but we walked in and was checked into our room [More] within 5 minutes. The young lady at the desk was very nice and easily approachable. I called downstairs once we were settled for instructions on the shuttle use and the young lady explained it in very good detail and was so helpful. On the second night, we returned late and when I called to find out where we could get a delivery, the gentleman went over an entire list with me of who was still open:) Many people don't take into consideration that although the amenities are important, the people that are there are more important than a scuff on the floor in when you walk in the front doors. I say that only because the service was wonderful and there were no amenity issues, just making a point that the people that work there matter more than anything else. They made our stay great! best night's sleep in weeks
By wellnesswelder
As a frequent traveler, I have the occasion to stay at a lot of hotels. The staff at this hotel is extremely courteous, regardless of the hour I might check in. This room was very nice- clean, [More] spacious and well-planned out. The tub separate from the shower was an unexpected and welcomed touch after a long day of work and travel. I have a tough time sleeping soundly on the road but I can honestly say that bed and those pillows were so comfortable that I instantly fell asleep and got the best sleep I have had in months. To my pleasant surprise, the towels were super soft and larger than I have found at some other IHG properties. The breakfast was average (the standard Holiday Inn fare) but my overall experience was excellent. Great staff, very comfortable room, and excellent quality of sleep. (People with larger vehicles might have a tough time parking as the parking garage is a little tight.) [Less]
Beautiful hotel
By I'm always on the road
Not the nicest location in the city, but the property itself is very, very nice. Apparently, there is a lot of crime and perhaps homeless people around, as the property is very secured. You have to [More] use your key to use the bathroom in the lobby!! (That was a little disconcerting, as I needed to use the bathroom upon arriving, but didn't have a key!) I have never seen that at any IHG property. Also, you need to use your room key to use the elevator. I have also never seen that at any IHG property. But, again, very nice hotel. Nice staff. Nice decor. Very clean. [Less]
Great stay and convenient but Expected More
By DK710
Had the King Executive room... Room was nice and location was great for work and ease to the airport. I just do not understand why there is no Microwave or refrigerator in such an expensive room? [More] This was a real downer as I work many hours and do not feel like leaving the hotel to grab food often. Overall I liked staying at the hotel and will do so again on my next business trips [Less]
Good Service and good location
By IBJew
Had good service from the friendly staff, good accommodations, clean room, but low water pressure. This was a good value for the price in the area. [Less]
