Featured Chicago Hotels

Chicago is a land of rich culture, unique architecture, delicious food, famous winds and more. The city—America’s third largest—is home to more than 2.7 million people, which rises to 10 million when you include residents of the greater Chicago area. It is a great sports town, where the Bears shuffled up a Super Bowl victory, Michael Jordan once ruled the NBA, and the Cubs and White Sox still swing for the fences. With dozens of Chicago hotels to choose from, IHG has the perfect room for your visit to this major Midwestern city. Things to See
One of Chicago’s foremost attractions is 360 Chicago (formerly John Hancock Observatory). Located on the 94th floor of John Hancock Center, it offers 360-degree views from a 17,000-square-foot observation deck, and visibility of up to 50 miles—a range that includes Chicago’s skyline, four nearby states and Lake Michigan. You can also dine and shop, or test your mettle at Tilt, a glass-enclosed platform that extends outward from the building at a 30-degree angle as you lean against it.
Lincoln Zoo, which offers all guests free admission year-round, has hundreds of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians for your family to meet. You can explore the city’s rich and fascinating past at Chicago History Museum, admire the abstract at Museum of Contemporary Art, and take a boating tour of waterside wonders at Navy Pier, which also
features mini-golf and a 150-foot Ferris wheel. You’ll find great live music at Green Mill, amazing urban architecture at Millennium Park, and a whole universe to discover at Adler Planetarium.
Hotels in Chicago
Chicago hotels offer a variety of ways to make your visit as comfortable and convenient to your needs as possible, whether you’re traveling solo for business or seeking a relaxing vacation with loved ones.
Where to Stay
Book a room on Magnificent Mile, a bustling section of Michigan Avenue with upscale shopping and entertainment, if you want to be in the heart of Chicago's action. The scenic and walkable area that includes Gold Coast and Old Town has a thriving nightlife, while Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville have fantastic nearby attractions for fun-seeking families.
How to Get to Chicago
O'Hare International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports and has a variety of ground transportation options. Midway International Airport handles mostly domestic flights and is unlikely to be as crowded as O'Hare, and other choices include Gary/Chicago International Airport and Chicago Rockford International Airport. Several Chicago hotels have shuttle service, however it’s a good idea to investigate public transportation options in the event it is not offered by your hotel.

GREAT service
By dlcs57
We happened to stay here after finding out our connecting flight was cancelled. We were provided a list of hotels in the immediate area and told they may have a "distress" rate. I called almost every [More] single one on the list and only Sandy offered us any sort of discounted rate.....I should mention we were traveling with our father, a 91 yr old WWII veteran, so had also asked for senior or military discounts if there was no distress discount. I called Sandy back to confirm the rate and was then passed to reservations. Reservations had to put me on hold to confirm the rate. Imagine our surprise when the desk clerk was Sandy!!!! What an exemplary employee!!!! She assigned us a very suitable room, and continued to endure our requests for additional items - extra covers, bottled water, wifi assistance. She made us feel like we were the only guests at the hotel! We were incredibly impressed with her, the hotel and our room. Our stay was just overnight and the staff that greeted us the next morning we equally pleasant and helpful. The shuttle service was prompt, the driver courteous. We would definitely stay here again, and although we've been loyal to another chain in the past, we would definitely consider other HI accommodations! THANK YOU, SANDY!! [Less]
What a wonderful caring staff!!
By lambawi64
We were traveling to Las Vegas from Midway and found the hotel had 24 hour shuttle service. On driving down, we were lost and hungry. We called the hotel and the person who answered the phone was so [More] sweet, guided us in the right direction and told us where we could eat once we arrived, which was close to midnight. Shuttle was prompt in the morning, pleasant driver. We had a driver take us down and she stayed in the room until late morning without problems after we left for the airport. When returning from Vegas, we arrived at 1am, called the hotel for the Shuttle and it was there in 10 minutes. The person who answered the phone was again, so pleasant and accomodating. We needed shuttle back to the airport the next morning to catch a bus to Wisconsin, got a prompt wakeup call, ate a wonderful breakfast, was greeted with smiles and the shuttle driver took us right to arrivals as we asked. Could not have asked for anything more............start and finish to a wonderful vacation!! Thanks so much!! [Less]
Great Breakfast, many options.
By StephS27
The overall stay was comfortable. I was surprised that the sheets on one bed were not clean and free from stains. The staff was phenomenal, kind and accommodating. This was a great hotel for children [More] or hungry people- great breakfast options! I am gluten sensitive and I felt there were many options for me too! The kids really enjoyed the pastries and juice! [Less]
Very Small Room, Great Location!
By ceciliatravels
LOVE THE LOCATION! Right in the heart of lots of restaurants, bars, and the Magnificent Mile! It was close enough to the Metro to travel anywhere we wanted to. I had a great time staying here. The [More] rooms are VERY small. Basically, the bed takes up all of the room, so don't expect to be doing any aerobics. This room is enough for one or two people (If getting the single Queen bed). The bathroom was pretty spacious, and there is a desk and closet in the room. Temperature is self-controlled, so use the heat or air as much as you want. Big windows with blackout curtains for sleeping. Free breakfast was pretty good. I recommend the cinnamon buns. Cleaning staff was friendly and great. Don't forget to tip them! Secure elevators and front door. Awesome hotel for the price. I'll stay here again. [Less]
Awesome
By Lebanese_Legend
Great hotel! Very nice staff, very accommodating to our needs! Great location, don't let the small rooms scare you, it's Chicago you get that at every hotel, I've stayed at many hotels in Chicago and [More] this one by far is the best! I said multiple times to my girlfriend that we will definitely be staying here again! Five stars all around [Less]
