Very nice hotel

Very friendly staff. The gentlemen who checked us in was very helpful in showing us how to get somewhere. The room was clean and the big shower was great. We liked the different comfort choices for [More] the pillows. The breakfast was really good.. Would like to stay longer next time to enjoy the pool.. [Less]

I stayed at this hotel in April of 2016. My immediate impression was very positive. The manager Chad checked my group in with a warm welcome. He helped us with our bill and made it an easy check in. [More] Through out the weekend, we were in contact with everyone from the front desk to breakfast server to house-keeping. Each and every member of this staff was immediately helpful, friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. (Even the teen-agers in the group remarked how nice everyone was at this particular hotel.) This was our first visit to Pittsburg and our group would highly recommend this hotel for its staff and comfort of beds/pillows/room. Thank you for all that you do for your gusts! A little disappointed

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past with total satisfaction, however; during this stay, I experienced difficulties with regard to an odor indicating a previous guest had smoked in [More] the room. I was moved to another suite, and in that room experienced difficulty with regard to adequate functionality of the air conditioning. [Less]

Wonderful Hotel, Restaurant Staff Needs Work

I would like to start off by saying that this is a beautiful hotel. Our room was very clean. The front desk staff members were very nice when we checked in and when we checked out. Our stay included [More] breakfast on both mornings. When we checked in we received vouchers to redeem for our breakfast. I asked the lady at the front desk what time breakfast was served, she said from 6am-noon. On the first morning of our stay we arrived for breakfast at 11am. All of the food was still out, however the lady behind the bar told us breakfast was over at 11. I informed her that we were told noon, she repeated herself saying no 11, and again, I told her we were told noon. We made our plates, then a really nice lady came out and apologized and asked us if we needed anything at all. We thanked her and promised to be there on time the next day. On day 2, we came down at 10am, made our plates, and sat down to eat. My husband went up to the bar to ask if we could have coffee. The gentleman brought us one cup of coffee and then asked if we were staying in the hotel. We simply replied yes. We ate our breakfast. I barely touched my coffee and orange juice, and my husband's orange juice glass was nearly full. I left my purse on the table and we went up to get fruit. While we were in line, the waiter cleared our table, and took both of our glasses full of juice and my piping hot cup of coffee that he just brought to me 10 minutes prior to taking it. I tried to tell him we were not done since my purse was still there, but he cleared our table anyway. The lady who was refilling the buffet said he probably just thought you were done, to which we replied, how when our stuff is still on the table. Another guest chimed in and told her that they needed to slow down and take their time instead of rushing around and rushing the guests out. Well said. Needless to say, he brought me another cup of coffee, not nearly as hot as the first one, but also brought my husband one the second time around. Then he noticed my breakfast vouchers on the table, said oh I see you have coupons, and picked them up and left the table. I have no complaints about the stay, or even the breakfast. The food was delicious. But perhaps the front desk staff needs to coordinate with the restaurant staff and make sure they tell guests the correct time for breakfast. I noticed other guests arriving after 11 on day 2, so I am guessing they were told noon as well. Secondly, the restaurant staff should try a little harder to make guests feel welcome at breakfast instead of rushed. Sorry to be so long-winded. But again, wonderful hotel. [Less]

First Night of VACATiON
We chose to drive 4 hrs the first day as I had to work and didn't want too drive to late. This was a perfect place to stop and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great. We have a great bed at [More] home so we don't sleep well in any hotel, but the mattress was adequate. [Less]
