Featured Berlin Hotels

For 18 years Berlin was defined by the wall that separated West Berlin from the German Democratic Republic (GDR) of East Germany. Since the Berlin Wall fell in November 1989, Berlin has once again merged into a thriving cosmopolitan city with outstanding diversity and world-renowned attractions.
Berlin is over nine times larger than Paris, with more brides than Venice. Though it houses ample historic and cultural sites as well as shopping, dining, and entertainment, these attractions cover just 66 percent of the city. The remaining 44 percent of Berlin is home to 2,500 public parks, gardens, woods, and rivers, offering a refreshing green retreat amid the urban highlights.
Charlottenburg is the largest Hohenzollern palace surviving today, and it offers a resplendent look into Berlin's more glamorous history. Originally constructed as a summer home for Queen Sophie Charlotte of Prussia, the oldest parts of the palace date back to 1695. You can tour the baroque gardens outside as well as many interior parts of the Schloss Charlottenburg.
For a delightfully cultural agenda, head to Museum Island, where you can take in stunning art, architecture, and antiquities. You can also treat your ears to one of the best orchestras in the world in this city, the Berliner Philharmoniker.
The Berlin Zoo offers a softer side of Berlin, with residents that include hippos, gorillas, king penguins, pelicans, brown bears, and more. When you're ready for some fresh air, visit the Grunewald forest or sprawling Tiergarten. Take a soaring look at all of Berlin at least once before your departure with a trip to the TV Tower. Viewing points over 660 feet in the air offer a 360-degree view of the city.

Great service
By NBVLtd
Not the most up to date hotel, but great service and comfortable rooms. I will be staying here again the next time I visit Berlin. [Less]
Another excellent stay at this hotel!
By Bham1875
The hotel is out of town but U Bahn just across the road with frequent trains providing quick access to all key parts of Berlin. I've stayed at this hotel several times and never been disappointed. [More] I was welcomed by friendly and efficient staff on arrival. This set the trend throughout my stay. Breakfast provides a wide choice of appetising options in a relaxing atmosphere. Dinner was good too! Excellent attentive staff who provide excellent service. The dinner menu is a bit limited but with weekend special additions I had no problem in finding a good meal on the 3 evenings I ate in the hotel. I struggle to find anything negative. If pushed the only constructive comment I would make was the television in the room is very old (perhaps time to upgrade to a flatscreen?) although there's so much to see in your wonderful city I didn't have time to watch television! Nice hotel to stay
By BJN777
We stayed in this hotel for one night. The room was very nice and clean. We couldn't hear any noices as well. The hotel stuff was very helpful. The only one disadvantage is the garage - it is quite [More] complicate to find a way between a room and the garage (you cannot reach it from all elevators, plus the descriptions on the walls could be more logical), but I think it is because of the building architecture specificity. We cannot say anything about the food, because we have not taken this service. The hotel is located very close to the shopping center, thus if you like to shop or need some food supply, you don't have to worry - it is in the walking distance area. [Less]
Good value and location

Great location very close to sights. No frill service was good for what you pay for. [Less]
Great room, decent breakfast, grounds could be improved.
By happycheese53
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel on a mini-break. The location isn't bad! Just a 10-15 minute walk in a straight line to Potsdamer platz, just a few minutes fom an underground and opposite a [More] local supermarket. Not the prettiest of locations however, if that is what you are looking for. The room itself was modern and clean, had a TV and a tea and coffee station which was a nice touch. The view of the berlin TV tower from our room was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was decent. Includes bread to toast, warm croissants, sliced meat and cheese, cereals, a variety of spreads, watermelon, grapefruit and apples. To drink there are coffee machines and fruit juices. No full English is included however. Breakfast can be VERY crowded if going during peak time (8:30-9:30) and there is very limited outdoor seating. The outdoor area could really do with some love and attention... The staff are friendly, proving maps of the local area etc.. Overall decent few night stay if you are only wanting somewhere to sleep at night. For a longer stay, or for those wishing to spend more time in the hotel, a hotel with better facilities may be desired. [Less]
An hotel for all type.
By nallaboss
The Hotel staffs are very welcoming. I had two rooms booked; Even though the hotel was fully booked the reception staff had tried their level best to get me both rooms nearby. Rooms are clean and [More] the breakfast was good. There is a secured baggage room where we could keep our luggage on the last day until we leave out Berlin. The place is very calm and there is a frequent public bus (M41 from Central Station [Less]
great location and staff
By maxfli ddh
my stay was great. all aspects were spot on. My only negative was the complimentary internet was a little slow and a business computer with print capabilities would have been nice. the staff printed [More] anything I wanted and was very helpful. But it is still nice to look at things on a bigger screen for business or leisure purposes. [Less]
Good hotel and location
By MarkieG
Good hotel and location. Perfect just for my business attendance. Hotel menu was quite poor for choice at dinner so good job i didnt eat there. Breakfast on the other hand was fine. [Less]
Rooms very small, but excellent reception personnel.
By Jan2475
The rooms are very small, but brightly colored and nicely designed. The bed was much too soft for my taste, but that is a matter of personal preference, so if you like soft beds, don't mind [More] extremely small rooms and want to stay in the Bahnhof Zoo area for a lower price than in the nearby Crown Plaza or Intercontinental then i can recommend this hotel to you. Reception personnel was exceptional, much friendlier and eager to help than i would have expected, certainly able to work at any Intercontinental. [Less]
