Nice one night stay at this Holiday Inn
By Dave_travels
This was a nice uneventful stay at this hotel in Guadalajara. I needed to be close to the airport, and this stay fit the bill. I had a very smooth stay. No problems, and the staff was great. Chillis [More] was within walking distance, so I was able to get a drink and relax without having to drive. [Less]
My stay
Your beds are amazing, the room is clean and also is great, the unique item that was not good is the air condition, because it makes a lot noise. [Less]
Guadalajara HIE - Excellent
By Pignutr
Spent 2 nights in GDL at HIE Airport. Facility is very secure, felt completely safe once you pull in past the guarded gate. Hotel was under construction at the time, appeared to be adding restaurant [More] out front, but extraordinarily clean otherwise. Lobby and breakfast area, and all outdoor lounge areas were clean, bright and well appointed. This hotel delivers everything you would come to expect from a HIE in USA. Rooms were large with large walk-in shower, furnished with soap and shampoo and proper bathroom linens. Overall you wouldn't know you were outside the US, except for perhaps the tile flooring, but this hotel is nicer than many I stay at in the US. The biggest issue is road noise, my room was 2nd room down from end of hotel closet to road. Of course it's not an issue if you are asleep, but if you wake it is obvious enough to keep you awake (this is a common problem I find in Mexico where hotels are close to main roads. Because the road outside runs to the Airport, there is constant traffic. [Less]
