Ijmuiden - Seaport Beach
By NJMurley
A fantastic hotel, it was a pleasure to stay here. Great views both sides of the hotel create a nice atmosphere. This would be a great place to stay in the summer/in good weather as very [More] picturesque! Travel into Amsterdam was an hour on the bus, was also about 45 minutes by car so not the closest if you want to explore Amsterdam. however the bus stop is directly outside the hotel so gives you the option. The food for breakfast was very good, the only downside was the price of soft drinks in the bar being significantly more expensive than the alcoholic. €12 for a lemonade whilst only €9 for a JD & Coke? Great place at the sea!
By Maxyvelar
We have stayed in this hotel for a relaxing weekend. Great staff, very helpful and polite. The rooms were very comfortable with sea view! Restaurant was good for an very nice breakfast buffet with a [More] large choice of hot and cold items, variety of bread, ceareals and juices! One night we had dinner in the restaurant and was also very good and tasteful. Nice staff as well!! [Less]
Comfortable Stay, Far from Amsterdam
By mmarie87
Although this hotel doesn't look too far from Amsterdam city center on a map, the traffic alone will take you 45 minutes driving and over an hour by bus. Parking in city center was 55 Euro for the [More] evening. I would recommend a taxi ride (about 70 Euro each way). My room was very clean and large, with nice views. The front desk staff seemed a little less than the level of friendliness that IHG hotels have, but they were not rude. The breakfast buffet was lacking in options, but the coffee was good. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Had a hard time finding outlets in the room when I needed to get ready. [Less]

Relaxing night before early flight
By BWtraveller13
We had an early flight out from Schiphzl airport. Holiday Inn Express Schiphzl was a comfortable and peaceful place close to the airport. Only we would have wished more frequent bus transportation to [More] the airport which would have allowed us to sleep a bit longer and leave a bit later to the airport. [Less]
Very good value for an airport hotel
By Pegasus75
Lots to recommend about this hotel - warm welcome, well organised and reliable shuttle bus from and to the airport, clear list of nearby restaurants with a map of the area. The closest, L'Hirondelle, [More] was excellent and had its own shuttle bus from and to the hotel - perfect for the rainy night we ate there. Would definitely use this hotel again if staying overnight at Schiphol. [Less]
Nice and cozy hotel
By AAA129
It was a short but nice stay. The location is pretty convenience to metro station and a shopping mall too. Too bad I didn't have time to go to the mall though. [Less]
Nice stay

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and we had not the best but a very good breakfast. Near to the Metro Station, about 5 minutes to walk to. By Metro is the duration of the journey about [More] 15 minutes to the central Station. [Less]
We had a great stay at your hotel.
By topangafairy
I would really like to say how helpful and nice the staff at the front desk were to us... and our stay was very comfortable. The hotel is very well positioned in a very active part of town - the [More] arena, Imax, concert halls, twenty minutes from the airport by train and only five minutes by Metro to Centraal Station in the heart of the Canal District.
