Featured Bristol Hotels

With speedy access to the flourishing city center, airport, and Parkway Business Park, our Bristol hotels will help you make the most of your stay.
Due to its location on the River Avon and the Severn Estuary in southwestern England, Bristol’s fortunes have long risen and fallen with the sea. Like so many prominent British settlements, Bristol can trace its habitation back to before the Iron Age. One of the three most prosperous cities of the kingdom during the medieval era, Bristol had its own mint and was pressing coins by 1020. Although it suffered significant damage during the Luftwaffe raids of WWII, Bristol’s indomitable spirit persevered to rebuild and maintain itself as a captivating destination for residents and visitors alike.
As you tour the city, you can’t miss the pretty Clifton Suspension Bridge over the Avon Gorge, a marvel of 19th century engineering. The trek to the top of Cabot’s Tower, built to honor one of the original British explorers of North America, who set sail from Bristol’s harbor in 1497, rewards climbers with sweeping views over the cityscape and surrounding parkland. Mixed in with Bristol’s hundreds of historic buildings are some of infamous artist Banksy’s original works—discovering them around the city is always an energizing treasure hunt.
Embrace the seafaring way of life when you climb aboard the SS Britain, an immersion in Victorian ship-building. Known for its diverse and exciting nightlife, you can knock back a pint at an ancient public house before heading out to catch a show at
Bristol’s Hippodrome or Theatre Royal.
Hunt down new apparel or a unique souvenir in Bristol’s Shopping Quarter, whose four separate shopping areas offer a whopping 500 stores. For hip, independent boutiques look no further than Park Street or Clifton. St. Nicholas Market in the Old City is another place to hit for both interesting goods and historic atmosphere.
With a packed roster of soccer, rugby, and cricket teams, there’s always a rousing match to catch somewhere in Bristol. The city is also host to the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta each year, so remember to look up!
Bristol’s two train stations and airport keep the city well connected to the rest of the U.K., with high-speed trains departing frequently for London’s Paddington Station.
Leave your cares at the door when you book one of our Bristol hotels. Our guarantee of friendly service, spacious rooms, and bottom-line values lets you leave the logistics to us while enjoying your time away in Bristol.

Welcome and modern guest room and friendly service
By Tuff22
We were both involved in a serious car accident last year and needed to come to Bristol for a meeting with our insurance lawyers. We wanted somewhere conveniently located in the centre with modern [More] facilities and friendly staff. We were delighted that this hotel fitted the bill completely and made what might have been a stressful visit a relaxing enjoyable one. [Less]
Excellent hotel in prime location
Great value and excellently positioned in central Bristol. Parking available at a reasonable price. Good soundproofing throughout. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, large room with all amenities. Had [More] an evening meal which was very nice and good value. Breakfast included in our stay and was acceptable, although there was no skimmed milk availalble and the coffee wasn't great! [Less]

Good service, great staff
By Iretia
Clean room, staff very polite. Breakfast tasty, however some of the evening meals very average. [Less]
Comfortable and convenient
We have stayed at this partcular Holiday Inn three times now, and have found it very convenient for the airport. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are a good standard, and clean. One small [More] gripe would be that there are not enough tea bags and milk supplied, but if you ask at reception they will give you more. The food is good quality and the staff are very friendly but also very efficient. We will definitely stay again. [Less]
What you'd expect from an Express hotel
By Mr Blue21
Generally does the basics well. Great for overnight stays. Not much in the local area but this hotel has a pretty good pub right next door with reasonable menu. [Less]

Pleasant staff, and helpful.Parking not a problem, and Sainsburys petrol station five minutes away.Nice size television, duvet a bit too hot, even with the air-con off.Window kept closed in case of [More] noise, but not too bad as it happened.Good shower and air-con,and although there is a notice in the room to ask for extra milk if you need it,you will need it,so ask before you get there. No biscuit or snack on the tray, which surprised me,but that was the only down side.Free wifi good in the room. Breakfast was good, with a reasonable choice, remember, you are not at the Niebieski Art Hotel & Spa Krakow, nor the Savoy.Four pillows issued, two hard and two not so hard. Kept clean everywhere as far as I could see,all in all a good hotel. [Less]
One night stay
By Pride of Hull
This is a standard Holiday Inn Express in a good location for the attractions in the Bristol area. My only complaint would have to be the hot breakfast - OK if you like beans and sausages but [More] definately not a full English and no way to upgrade. Mind you the continental breakfast selection was reasonable. [Less]
