Featured Glasgow Hotels

Get to know the city like a true Scotsman when you stay at one of our Glasgow hotels near the city center, theatre district, or airport.
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city, and one of the largest in the U.K. Its bustling metropolitan center is located on the River Clyde and is an important seaport.
From an early Christian site of the 6th century to a wealthy and influential bishopric, Glaswegians saw their city grow in prestige and power through its international trade of commodities like linen. Sparked by the Scottish Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution, Glasgow’s fortunes exploded on the world scene, with active trade in almost every sector and a vibrant shipbuilding economy. Today, the city combines up-to-the-moment culture with stately architecture and a true sense of fun.
The modern shape of the Clyde Arc Bridge is unmistakable in Glasgow’s skyline, while the City Chambers building dominates its own section of the city with Victorian stateliness. Medieval Glasgow Cathedral and Merchant City provide excellent destinations for sightseeing and entertainment. The Merchant City rewards pedestrians with countless pubs and restaurants, and its central location near the riverside and Glasgow Green means that you can continue to enjoy Glasgow’s unique sites after your break.
It’s easy to get to know Glasgow’s range of museums and cultural opportunities - nearly all of them are free! The Riverside Museum makes the most of its picturesque location on the river to showcase a collection relating to transportation, while the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum exhibits everything from artistic
masters to suits of armor. Taste the local whiskey at Glengoyne before donning your party clothes for an evening out at the Scottish Ballet or National Theatre.
Glasgow makes a serious rival for London in terms of the breadth and uniqueness of its retail. Packed with independent record stores and the Style Mile area directly in the town center, every quirky and up-to-the-minute trend is available for those in the know. Buchanan Street has all the large brands you could wish for, while remaining pedestrian-friendly, and the unique Argyll Arcade attracts with its window displays of precious jewelry and diamonds. Truly all shoppers can find something to cherish in Glasgow.
Glasgow is a wonderful destination for golfers, as its famed Loch Lomond and Gleneagles courses can attest. The city is also home to powerhouse soccer teams, as well as a devoted rugby tradition. Catching a match guarantees that you’ll feel like a local for the day.
With frequent trains to London and other U.K. destinations, as well as its international airport and efficient urban transportation system, Glasgow is an easy city to navigate.
Get to know the depth of Scotland’s past when you stay in one of our Glasgow hotels. We put our guests first, and after experiencing our hospitality, comfort, and value, you’ll be prepared to book your return visit to Glasgow in no time.

Nice relaxing break
By Karen91
My husband and I had a nice relaxing time. The room was very nice, the bed was huge, a bit soft though. But we had a good sleep. The breakfast was good. Variety of cereals, quasons, yogart, fruit, [More] toast, scrambled egg and link sausages and beans very nice. The staff were very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend a stay at the holiday inn express. We had a reward night so it was great. Places to eat nearby. We went to the Pizza Hut a couple of minutes away. The staff were nice there to. Excellent hotel with friendly staff

We stayed at this hotel for one night only. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we were taken up to our room immediately upon arrival. The room was extremely comfortable with [More] all amenities that you could want. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and warm but we could also control the heating easily for during the night. We would certainly stay at this hotel again and in fact are hoping to get back in June. The self service breakfast was excellent and you could go back and help yourself to what ever you required. After a 5 hour flight, it was great to have only a 1 minute walk to our hotel. Nice welcome in reception from pleasant staff. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed a very pleasant bar meal. A [More] good breakfast set us up for our long journey home. [Less]
Brilliant way to start the holiday

I'm a nervous flier & the fact of staying in the hotel right at the airport relieves the stress of a few things is a bonus. Staff friendly & helpful & just can't find fault in this hotel. [Less]
Friendly staff and nice and clean.

You can stay in the so called better hotels in Glasgow for the same price or slightly cheaper. The hotel is nicely done and very clean with everything you need. I would recommend the hotel to people [More] visiting but I could have stayed at the Grand Central hotel for a slightly cheaper rate and it is a nicer hotel. [Less]
Comfortable Room and Good Service
By theresamaria
Enjoyed our one night stay in Glasgow, Theatreland. Very central with helpful staff. The room was clean and well equipped but fairly small. Breakfast had lots to choose from - hot food was a bit dry [More] though. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel. [Less]
Home from home

My wife and I are frequent visitors to this Hotel for relaxation and easy access to the Concert Hall, Cinema and Pavillion Theatre. On every visit, the standards are first class matctched by [More] excellent staff throughout the Hotel. The rooms are maintained to implacably high standard and the beds are the most comfortable we have experienced in hotel stays. Matched by the Le Bon Auberge restaurant, we cannot find anything better for our high expectations. We return in March and counting the days already [Less]
