Featured Glasgow Hotels

Get to know the city like a true Scotsman when you stay at one of our Glasgow hotels near the city center, theatre district, or airport.
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city, and one of the largest in the U.K. Its bustling metropolitan center is located on the River Clyde and is an important seaport.
From an early Christian site of the 6th century to a wealthy and influential bishopric, Glaswegians saw their city grow in prestige and power through its international trade of commodities like linen. Sparked by the Scottish Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution, Glasgow’s fortunes exploded on the world scene, with active trade in almost every sector and a vibrant shipbuilding economy. Today, the city combines up-to-the-moment culture with stately architecture and a true sense of fun.
The modern shape of the Clyde Arc Bridge is unmistakable in Glasgow’s skyline, while the City Chambers building dominates its own section of the city with Victorian stateliness. Medieval Glasgow Cathedral and Merchant City provide excellent destinations for sightseeing and entertainment. The Merchant City rewards pedestrians with countless pubs and restaurants, and its central location near the riverside and Glasgow Green means that you can continue to enjoy Glasgow’s unique sites after your break.
It’s easy to get to know Glasgow’s range of museums and cultural opportunities - nearly all of them are free! The Riverside Museum makes the most of its picturesque location on the river to showcase a collection relating to transportation, while the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum exhibits everything from artistic
masters to suits of armor. Taste the local whiskey at Glengoyne before donning your party clothes for an evening out at the Scottish Ballet or National Theatre.
Glasgow makes a serious rival for London in terms of the breadth and uniqueness of its retail. Packed with independent record stores and the Style Mile area directly in the town center, every quirky and up-to-the-minute trend is available for those in the know. Buchanan Street has all the large brands you could wish for, while remaining pedestrian-friendly, and the unique Argyll Arcade attracts with its window displays of precious jewelry and diamonds. Truly all shoppers can find something to cherish in Glasgow.
Glasgow is a wonderful destination for golfers, as its famed Loch Lomond and Gleneagles courses can attest. The city is also home to powerhouse soccer teams, as well as a devoted rugby tradition. Catching a match guarantees that you’ll feel like a local for the day.
With frequent trains to London and other U.K. destinations, as well as its international airport and efficient urban transportation system, Glasgow is an easy city to navigate.
Get to know the depth of Scotland’s past when you stay in one of our Glasgow hotels. We put our guests first, and after experiencing our hospitality, comfort, and value, you’ll be prepared to book your return visit to Glasgow in no time.

Stayed here as part of a motorcycle group tour. We had a very pleasant overnight stay and were made to feel welcome. [Less]
Bring back the Bacon
By Picto65
I really do like staying at this hotel. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean and modern. BUT it does need to "Bring back the Bacon" to the breakfast buffet. The Sausage is okay, [More] but it needs the company of a nice rasher. The message couldn't be clearer Bring back the Bacon. I will return regularly to check the progress of my campaign. [Less]
Fantasic hotel
By mcfcnig
Great hotel. Near but not close to railway, took a 15 minute walk, but taxis are available. Room had full air conditioning, which was needed! Great king size bed, even my 6ft4 frame was all in. First [More] time in express, will DEF do again. [Less]
Friendly staff, hotel met expectations
By Businesstraveller31
Stayed for business in this hotel. It fitted the purpose, no major complaints, and was probably the standard expected for the price/brand. Fairly basic but clean and had everything I needed. Staff at [More] front desk were particularly friendly and helpful. It was noisy, due to the location being in the city centre and close to a main road. [Less]

Nice room with a view
By Anne1694
I found this hotel excellent overall. The room was spacious and had a fantastic view over Glasgow and the décor was very tasteful . The bed was very comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. I [More] found the lifts a little slow and the dining room too open .I loved that there was a pool (small though it was). All of this considered ,I would not hesitate in staying again and would recommend this hotel. [Less]
Wonderful Birthday
By Lolo1975
Our favourite hotel to stay in in Glasgow. Birthday surprise for husband to see Frankie Boyle at Armadillo. Love the location, the quiet rooms and the fantastic food and service. Well Done Crowne [More] Plaza. Just love it :) [Less]
Wonderful service
By DJM_67
We had a one night stay here as we were attending a concert at "the hydro" next door. From our arrival we were made to feel nothing was too much bother. The desk staff were quietly efficient, the [More] recently refurbished room was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the breakfast was generous, varied choice and extremely tasty. Even the chap who worked at the pool went above and beyond the call of duty as he provided a pound coin for my locker as I had no change. Keep up the good work and thank you. [Less]
