a fairly new HIE but very little thought gone into the number of hotel car parking spaces required and the number of bedrooms in the hotel.
If you can't find a space then the multi-storey car park[More] next door is a real chore if you have more than 1 x bag/suitcase![Less]
Fair for a town centre hotel
Parking availability is poor. You have to get there early to get a space, otherwise it's a trek over from the public multi storey.[Less]
Comfortable for extended stay
Comfortable hotel and friendly staff. Limited hotel parking, but additional space available at hotel rate in multi-story carpark adjacent to the hotel.
For long term residents there is limited[More] storage space to hang clothes or drawers to store items meaning you have live out of a suitcase - but comfortable room nonetheless.
Also for long term residents it is annoying that the room cards have to be reprogrammed every 3 to 5 days. There are approx. 20 of us who stay here and this happens to all of us so it must be an error in the cards or programming system. Very annoying when going to the room after a 12 hour day only to have to trudge back to reception to program the card.[Less]
Nice staff. Good rooms, although small. Great breakfast choices and location.[Less]
Always great service!
I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (London Swiss Cottage) on a number of occasions and it is always a great experience! The staff are attentive and I'm always guaranteed a relaxing stay.[Less]
Great location in a good property
By Glasgow Friend
The room was clean and the facilities more than adequate. The front staff were excellent and responded quickly to any requests.
It is perfect for a short stay and conveniently located across from the[More] cinema, the bus lines and the tube station.
For longer stays, the room is a bit tight for large suitcases.
Excellent choice for a get away weekend in London and easy to get anywhere in the city via bus or underground.Good restaurants nearby on Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage, or West End Lane.[Less]

We came from the Midlands to see a band at The Flag pub which is just behind the Hoiliday Inn so we parked on the pub carpark as there was no room left on the holiday Inn carpark, it did not make any[More] difference as it is only over the way from the holiday inn.
the staff at the Inn was very quick and efficiant in checking us in and gave us all the info we needed to get settled in our room.
our room was clean, had a lovely bed, towelsand hairdryer.
Breakfast was between 7.30 and 10.30 on weekends so as we had a late night on the Saturday we didnt have to rush down to breakfast the next morning.
check out was quick as we had already paid, the reception staff also asked if we had had any problems[Less]
Visit to Harry Potter Weekend
Great stay, lovely staff and great breakfast. Best nights sleep in ages[Less]
Convenient for London Trains/Show
We used this hotel as a base when going in to London to see Phantom of the Opera; it was an easy drive (mainly motorway) and saved taking the car into the City. A very quick trip on the train. In[More] Saturday we decided to shop in Watford instead of returning to London and the Intu shopping centre is fantastic, parking price is reasonable and a huge variety of shops. All in all a good choice for us.[Less]
