Featured Liverpool Hotels

Experience the urban buzz of Liverpool with our wide range of Liverpool hotels, which bring the airport, train stations, lively waterfront, and city center all within your grasp.
Located in northwestern England and bounded by the Irish Sea and the River Mersey, Liverpool has been an important British city since the Middle Ages. It came to special prominence during the 19th century when its status as a major trading port led to an explosion in wealth, expansion, and technological innovation. Once a rival to London itself in reach and influence, Liverpudlians still like to highlight its beautiful architecture, creative music tradition, and sporting spirit.
Visitors to Liverpool can expect to experience an energizing range of architectural landmarks, with thousands of historic buildings spanning centuries of habitation. In addition to grandly impressive civic buildings such as the Liverpool Town Hall, the waterfront at Albert Dock brings the beating heart of Liverpool’s maritime past to life. Also on the Mersey waterfront is Pier Head, where a trio of spectacular buildings known as The Three Graces were constructed to house some of the largest names in shipping and industry at the turn of the last century.
Dubbed a World Capital City of Pop due to its most famous musical exports, Liverpool honors that tradition today with a thriving nightlife scene, the annual Liverpool International Music Festival, and, of course, The Beatles Story museum at Albert Dock. Liverpool is no slouch when it comes to rarefied culture, either, with branches of the National Museum and the Tate
Modern Art Museum.
Indulge in a little retail therapy with a visit to the splashy Liverpool ONE center downtown, which features a plethora of shops and entertainment. The swanky Metquarter and Cavern Walks offer luxury brands in a luxurious setting, while funky Lark Lane is known for its vintage finds and teeming street markets. For fresh produce, head across the river to Wirral and browse a fine selection of farmers’ markets.
Soccer fans will love Liverpool, which holds not one, but two, of the most successful English teams of all time. Get your cheering section together and catch the Liverpool Football Club at Anfield or the Everton Football Club at Goodison Park. When the two teams go head to head, it’s known as the Merseyside Derby, and emotions run high on both sides.
Liverpool’s Lime Street Station features rail connections to major cities across the U.K., and its port provides ferry services across the Irish Sea. The Liverpool John Lennon Airport jets passengers to destinations throughout Europe. While inside the city limits, find your way around on the busy Merseyrail service.
Hit the right note during your stay in Liverpool by selecting one of our Liverpool hotels. Our comfortable rooms, fantastic values, and convenient locations mean that you’ll be perfectly poised to experience the best of the city and all it has to offer.

Handy and easy to use hotel.

This hotel is very close to the M6 which is very useful but is looking a little bit tired in some areas. The bar is not as slick as it might be. Staff explaining about new brand of gin which should [More] be served with fruit but then gave my wife her G [Less]
Consistently great stays at this property
I'm in the relatively unique position of having stayed at this Holiday Inn almost every fortnight for nearly six months now, so I'm pretty well acquainted with the property and the staff. Bedrooms [More] are a bit tired but are undergoing a refurbishment program and the recently modernised bathrooms are excellent - really clean and fresh with great showers and good water pressure. As the showers replace baths, they're also really generously sized - can't wait to see the changes to the bedrooms as these are phased in. Cleanliness is consistently excellent and sleep quality is very good with the usual HI pillow menus but also surprisingly good sound proofing between rooms (though better at the back of the hotel, as the front does connect to a busy motorway). Staff are excellent - as a frequent guest, they are extremely friendly, show genuine care and interest for how things are going and remember preferences such as reward type, wake-up calls and dining preferences. Elite status is consistently recognised and rewarded, wake up calls always happen at the scheduled time (and are human, not machine). The reception staff in particular are a testament to this hotel and really do make a huge difference to guest experience - thank you. Food is very good and the menu has been improving recently with more creative options such as a delicious seafood macaroni cheese dish and customisable pizza flatbreads - there's genuinely enough variety to not get bored of the menu, and the full restaurant menu is available for room service which is generally quick and efficient with orders correctly taken. Pricing is slightly on the expensive side, but in line with other IHG properties. The one thing the property could really work to improve guest experience is the quality of the wireless internet connection. At present, this is fairly slow, drops out intermittently and isn't really fit for purpose beyond checking emails - which can sometimes be a struggle. As the property has weak mobile phone signal on all the networks I've tried, Wi-Fi really is an essential part of the experience and it would be good to see the capacity improved in the future. Overall, though, I continue to be extremely satisfied with the Holiday Inn Warrington - primarily due to it's excellent staff. [Less]
Good Overnight Stay
By yorkie65
Have stayed here many times before, staff always friendly and helpful and was upgraded to an executive room as a Spire Elite Member after asking, which was at the end of the corridor which I prefer [More] for a peaceful nights sleep. Will return here again when needing to stopover in the area. [Less]

I booked a 1 night stay because I was flying out the next day to Dublin and back same day, I arrived amongst mayhem as a flight had been delayed due to bad fog so what looked at the time 1000S of [More] people were checking in .... I was not feeling happy my quiet evening was going to be soiled by so many people but to be honest it didn't happen... I was checked in quickly and with the Platinum member style.. I got the room I asked for. I went to the bar yes it was busy but the staff copped very well.... I order food it came out correctly all in all a very good experience. I remember a girl called Tina who was outstanding on reception all in all very good. [Less]
