I stay here all the time I am in London on business. I am always made welcome.[Less]
Great hotel and location.
I travelled with my young grandniece and we were both very happy with the stay. We were given a big twin room, calm and clean. Free wifi. Brunswick centre for shopping/eating nearby and also only 5[More] min to tube/bus. Close to the British Museum.[Less]

nice hotel but the location is too remote for my tastes, and the lack of available transport options might be an issue for some.[Less]

Room for Rugby
Stayed here overnight to be able to go to the Rugby at Twickenham.
Hotel offered great value compared to others in the area.
Was only slightly let down by the attitude of 1 member of staff.[Less]
Nice hotel, great stay!
Really nice hotel and great location for my needs.[Less]
Huge improvement on last visit
My last stay the previous week (see 'Serious noise problem' Oct 17th) was blighted during the day (working in my hotel room) by noisy air con' on the roof - apparently being 'fixed' over the next[More] several months.
I complained during check-out, where they explained the problem and suggested I stay on the first floor next time.
Upon my return the following week, I had - as promised - been moved to the first floor, and - I had also been upgraded to an executive room which was far superior both in size, amenities, and having a very large balcony overlooking an attractive canal / lock.
As promised it was wonderfully quiet. I should add that the executive 'wing' is directly above the function rooms, so week-end weddings could I imagine be a bit of a problem?
As before the front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful, and breakfast again wholesome and plentiful.
Incidentally there is a very good Italian Restaurant in the square two minutes away called La Rosetta, full of traditional Italian specialities (not the Italian overlooking the canal).[Less]
