I travel alot and have stayed at this property several times when i have work in the Oakland area. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive up with traffic mostly on the oposite side of travel. I enjoy[More] the area with all te ammenaties (i.e. Movie Theater, restaurants, and shops).
In my last stay I noticed the swatch boards on an up coming hotel remodel, and look forward to seeing the new rooms on my next visit. I will return.[Less]
another good expereince
I have stayed this hotel a few times and it always feels
relaxed and have a good sleep. It is very clean and quiet in the room, very good queen size bed for sleeping.[Less]
Need more outlets
Everything was GREAT. But you only have one (1) outlet on the desk. People like myself travel with laptops, tablets, smart phones, blue toothes, etc. And even if we don't use them all in the room[More] they need to be charged at night. I don't want to have to put phones on the bathroom counter to charge, and a tablet behind the bed just to find outlets. You should have six outlets on the desk. Many hotels do and it's not an eyesore, it's welcome because we can keep all out important electonics on the desk to charge where they are dry and safe and we don't forget any of them when we leave.[Less]
Front desk staff made our experience GREAT!
This was a great experience for us. We will return in the future. Staff was SO great. It shows that the management takes the time to hire quality individuals. Every employee was great. A few of our[More] favorites were Emmy Rose, Romeo and two other girls at the front desk. They were all superb. The breakfasts were great and the socials were such a nice touch. I miss the STAYBRIDGE suites now that I'm home. I have never felt like that about anywhere that I've stayed. Great job!! Keep up the hard work. Housekeeping was wonderful as well.[Less]
Convenient location for our need
We stayed here, one night only, to save a few hours were otherwise we're have had to drive back from San Francisco to the south bay then back up again the very next thing in the morning. So, we[More] didn't actually need much of the hotel's services. Still, it was convenient, very close to BART, and significantly cheaper than trying to stay in San Francisco itself.[Less]
My intention was to stay in San Francisco. Possibly due to a combination of events, the hotels I used to stay (Holiday Inn at Civic Center or Holiday Inn at Van Ness Avenue) were fully booked and[More] other hotels in the area had become extremely expensive. So, I opted to stay at Staybridge Suites in San Bruno, due to its proximity to the San Bruno Bart Station. And the experience was very good. The suite I stayed was well equipped, and I felt very comfortable during my 15-night stay. The only negative aspect was the absence of an elevator, which made me drag a heavy suitcase up the stairs (fortunately just one flight) and it was not an easy task - after all, I am 71 years old! But, apart from that, the stay was perfect and I may consider the hotel as an option during any future stay in the Bay Area.[Less]
