With its year-round moderate temperature, nearby beaches, star-studded nightlife, sizzling culinary scene and wealth of world-famous tourist attractions, Los Angeles is one of the world’s greatest and most famous destinations. This sprawling city covers 467 square miles and is home to approximately 140 nationalities of people speaking 224 different languages, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world's movie industry and home to many of the big screen’s biggest celebrities and talents No matter your reason for visiting, IHG has excellent Los Angeles hotels not far from the city’s best local attractions.

Things to See

One of L.A.’s most popular activities is a guided bus tour, which takes groups through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, giving glimpses of the city's major attractions and your favorite stars' homes. A tour of Universal Studios in Hollywood is a must for movie buffs. Combining a functioning movie studio and amusement park, it has fun rides for the entire family, including Jurassic Park, Transformers 3-D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem rides. Where to Stay

The world-famous Strip, still the most popular place to enjoy the never-ending excitement of Los Angeles, has hotels that cater to all. Consider downtown L.A. if you want to stay within the city limits without spending a fortune. Along with bustling nightlife and shopping, downtown is home to Staples Center, where you can catch a Lakers game or concert, ,and a multi-cultural culinary offerings perfect for serious foodies, such as sushi in Little Tokyo and Mexican taquerias on Olvera Street. Comfortable room and excellent service
By Stan DaMan
I always stay in this Holiday Inn location whenever I am heading to Southern California. The facility is clean, service is excellent and the location is great. I'm glad that I don't plan to watch a [More] lot of TV because the cable signal is too weak, so the TV doesn't work AT ALL. But that's OK. I have never gone to Southern California to watch TV. [Less]
Familiar but better
By M Terry
I stayed at this hotel prior to it becoming a Holiday Inn. It was under construction then. Now that it has been remodeled it is very nice. We used to stay at the Marriot down the road until they [More] remodeled and removed the restaurant, which made it a lot less family friendly. I really enjoy my morning coffee, along with sitting outside on the patio. We stayed 3 days this time and the room was very nice. I read previous reviews by people and really found most of them to be silly with some of the complaints. The only one I really agreed with was about the size of the bathroom. Yes it is a little compact, but more than adequate. However I know men spend a lot less time in there than women. The restaurant was very nice and served a really nice breakfast. A buffet is available for breakfast, which my wife and daughter enjoyed.. My one disappointment with the restaurant was it only served Chinese food for lunch. However just a couple hundred yards west is a very nice Marie Calendars . I had a very nice lunch there. Overall my stay was very nice and would stay there again. [Less]
Very nice hotel with great service
By Happyfam6
Very nice and clean hotel with convenient location. The staff was so friendly and the housekeeping was excellent. The pool and bbq area is also very nice and clean, large enough to accommodate our [More] whole baseball team and families. The only thing is there is no hot tub, which was a bummer. Lots of restaurants, shopping and a grocery store all very close. Would definitely stay there again! [Less]
Suite Stay
By Familybound
We booked this hotel as it was one of two in the area we needed to stay. We chose this hotel as it had the suite available in the room, which meant we had a kitchen available to use. Very happy with [More] our choice! My review: Check-In -- Able to check in early. Room -- Clean, up-to-date interior, including kitchen and bath. Quiet, never heard anyone from our surrounding rooms and there was no street noise. Staff -- Friendly and helpful. Breakfast -- This part could use a little improvement. While good, there just didn't seem like there was much to choose from. It was also a very small area to get your food, so when it's crowded, it's tough getting around. I have small children, so between them trying to get things themselves, and me controlling them in the midst of a crowded area -- it was not fun! The food itself was good though. Everyone loves making their own waffles!! Overall -- I will stay here again, and I even told my husband the stay was so great, I'll never choose a hotel again without picking a "suite"! Just so much more room and amenities! [Less]

Professional staff and clean rooms.
By Jake 21
The staff actually cared about their guests. Oddly enough when i requested maintenance on a small issue it was fixed instantly by a maintenance staff member that was neat in appearance and was [More] knowledgeable when it came to his work. Carpet was dated a little but very clean. We stay in numerous hotel chains and I am very picky about who and where it is, this was well ran. [Less]
