Featured Los Angeles Hotels

With its year-round moderate temperature, nearby beaches, star-studded nightlife, sizzling culinary scene and wealth of world-famous tourist attractions, Los Angeles is one of the world’s greatest and most famous destinations. This sprawling city covers 467 square miles and is home to approximately 140 nationalities of people speaking 224 different languages, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world's movie industry and home to many of the big screen’s biggest celebrities and talents No matter your reason for visiting, IHG has excellent Los Angeles hotels not far from the city’s best local attractions.

Things to See

One of L.A.’s most popular activities is a guided bus tour, which takes groups through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, giving glimpses of the city's major attractions and your favorite stars' homes. A tour of Universal Studios in Hollywood is a must for movie buffs. Combining a functioning movie studio and amusement park, it has fun rides for the entire family, including Jurassic Park, Transformers 3-D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem rides. For the grown-ups, The Getty Center has thousands of paintings by iconic artists like Van Gogh and Monet, as well as beautiful sculptures and antiquities.

Hotels in Los Angeles

If you plan to spend a lot of time shopping, dining and relaxing on the beach, consider Santa Monica, located on L.A.’s western edge with easy access to Santa Monica and Venice beaches, and the popular Third Street Promenade restaurants and shops. Beverly Hills and West Hollywood also have plenty of luxury hotels if you wish to experience the glitz and glamor of the Los Angeles lifestyle.

Where to Stay

The world-famous Strip, still the most popular place to enjoy the never-ending excitement of Los Angeles, has hotels that cater to all. While some enjoy being in the middle of the action, those who prefer a low-key experience can find even more hotels just a few blocks from the Strip many of which offer a more affordable price and level of luxury. Consider downtown L.A. if you want to stay within the city limits without spending a fortune. Along with bustling nightlife and shopping, downtown is home to Staples Center, where you can catch a Lakers game or concert, ,and a multi-cultural culinary offerings perfect for serious foodies, such as sushi in Little Tokyo and Mexican taquerias on Olvera Street. L.A.’s public transportation system is limited, and traffic can be quite agitating for first-time visitors. By finding a hotel in an L.A. area or neighborhood convenient to your trip highlights, you'll dramatically cut down on any potential loss of time caused by gridlock.

LOVE the 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Suite
By midorisour
We had a 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom suite for the 6 of us on the 6th floor with a view of the pool. (Although we weren’t able to try out the pool.) We even were able to see the fireworks from the room. [More] The room consisted of: 4 adults, 1 teen, and 1 child. The side with 2 Queen beds had a shower and the side with the King Bed had a Tub/Shower. In between both rooms was the kitchen and living room with the pull out couch. The teen does NOT recommend the pull out couch, he said it was really hard and not very comfortable. So he pretty much just slept on the couch and didn’t pull it out. I really liked that there were dressers in both bedrooms and in the living room. So with the closet, we had ample space for all of our clothes. In the closet were a ton of hangers and a laundry basket. The kitchen was fully stocked with glasses, plates, and utensils. Although we only used the glasses for brushing our teeth. There was also a stove, microwave, and dishwasher but we didn’t use it even though we had leftovers in the fridge. In the freezer there was an ice maker which was nice for filling up water bottles for taking them to the park. There were A TON of outlets available for recharging ALL of our electronics. Usually we are hunting for an outlet and the kids are fighting over outlets but there was none of that in the room. TONS of outlets to be found. I did not go down for breakfast but my family said that it was good. We pretty much spent our days till closing at Disneyland so we didn’t get to attend Social Hour. Fair warning that they only do light housekeeping which is making the bed, emptying the trash, and light cleaning. They did mention a Full cleaning for 1 day of our stay. We would just need to call the front desk to schedule it. I’m guessing with light housekeeping we only received toiletries on the first day. So that was a bummer but we had our own so it was fine. It was weird too. One side had Bath and Body works products and the other side had another brand. Also this hotel is NOT close to the park. We drove every day. Overall I would DEFINETELY stay here again if we come to Disneyland as a big group again. The room was a good deal and fit our group very nicely. [Less]
Home away from home
By Foster Mom43
Our family of 6 loved everything about our stay. We stayed 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Jimmy checked us in and was so nice, friendly and [More] happy. Made me happy to be there. The breakfast buffet is like no other hotel we've stayed at. Exceptional! Room was very clean, comfortable beds and bedding. Top quality towels and all utensils provided in the kitchen to fix a full meal. [Less]
Weekend stay during Military Drill Weekend
By taan42000
One of the best places you can stay at if you work at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Bell or near area. They offer government rate and will waive your taxes, if you provide the tax exemption form [More] to them. The hotel offered me a really nice room because I was military personnel. I appreciated it and will return in the future. [Less]
Comfortable room and good location
By GZSF
The hotel looks very upscale and luxurious. Our room was facing to Highway 5 but it was not that noisy. The location is very convenient in the east side of LA such as Monterey Park, Rosemead and San [More] Gabriel. With about 20 minutes driving, you can find so many authentic Chinese foods. Since it is a casino hotel, there are lots of self-parking spaces (but need a bit walk). If you don’t like walk, $5 valet parking per night is very inexpensive. One more plus: they provide a sleep aromatherapy kit that was an unexpected surprise for me. – It really helped my sleep. [Less]
