Featured Chicago Hotels

Chicago is a land of rich culture, unique architecture, delicious food, famous winds and more. The city—America’s third largest—is home to more than 2.7 million people, which rises to 10 million when you include residents of the greater Chicago area. It is a great sports town, where the Bears shuffled up a Super Bowl victory, Michael Jordan once ruled the NBA, and the Cubs and White Sox still swing for the fences. With dozens of Chicago hotels to choose from, IHG has the perfect room for your visit to this major Midwestern city. Plan your trip to Chicago with additional tips from the IHG Travel Blog, starting with our
Essential Travel Guide to Chicago

Things to See
One of Chicago’s foremost attractions is 360 Chicago (formerly John Hancock Observatory). Located on the 94th floor of John Hancock Center, it offers 360-degree views from a 17,000-square-foot observation deck, and visibility of up to 50 miles—a range that includes Chicago’s skyline, four nearby states and Lake Michigan. You can also dine and shop, or test your mettle at Tilt, a glass-enclosed platform that extends outward from the building at a 30-degree angle as you lean against it.
Lincoln Zoo, which offers all guests free admission year-round, has hundreds of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians for your family to meet. You can explore the city’s rich and fascinating past at Chicago History Museum, admire the abstract at Museum of Contemporary Art, and take a boating tour of waterside wonders at Navy Pier, which also
features mini-golf and a 150-foot Ferris wheel. You’ll find great live music at Green Mill, amazing urban architecture at Millennium Park, and a whole universe to discover at Adler Planetarium.
Hotels in Chicago
Chicago hotels offer a variety of ways to make your visit as comfortable and convenient to your needs as possible, whether you’re traveling solo for business or seeking a relaxing vacation with loved ones.
Where to Stay
Book a room on Magnificent Mile, a bustling section of Michigan Avenue with upscale shopping and entertainment, if you want to be in the heart of Chicago's action. The scenic and walkable area that includes Gold Coast and Old Town has a thriving nightlife, while Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville have fantastic nearby attractions for fun-seeking families.
How to Get to Chicago
O'Hare International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports and has a variety of ground transportation options. Midway International Airport handles mostly domestic flights and is unlikely to be as crowded as O'Hare, and other choices include Gary/Chicago International Airport and Chicago Rockford International Airport. Several Chicago hotels have shuttle service, however it’s a good idea to investigate public transportation options in the event it is not offered by your hotel.

Very nice hotel.
By TJMR1313
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was fine and the restaurant was excellent with great service. I was not told but heard when I was leaving there was a weeknight drink and appetizer hour. The [More] pool was good. Very nice hotel and great restaurant! [Less]

Stay was cut short by emergency, but everything was just as it should of been up until that time. [Less]
Great Hotel
By svanwass
This is a very nice hotel with professional and attentive staff. The hotel restaurant has good food at a fair price. The internet is the best I have experience in a hotel for quite some time. This is [More] an excellent value. They only need to upgrade the beds and sheets to be nearly perfect. I will certainly be coming back. [Less]
Chicagoland
By wjn7781
Clean, comfortable and convenient. Friendly staff. However, I got a very annoying 4am wake up call that I did not request. Not sure if somebody else did not get their call. All I got was a quick [More] apology and hang up. [Less]
Decent Stay
By nonamesuitsme
The hotel looks great from the outside, and even in the lobby. But when you get to the floors the appearance wains a bit. It's not bad, just slightly outdated. The room itself was good - nothing [More] over the top, but certainly good enough. The restaurant breakfast buffet was adequate, but just barely, although the service was outstanding. The front desk staff was great on checkin, and checking out. I would stay here again... [Less]

Best place for people on the go.
By Klemmra
A stone's throw from O'Hara, but without the noise from the aircraft. Harry Carrys next door, great food and drink. Free 24hr shuttle to and from the airport. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Our only [More] choice when flying out of Chicago. [Less]
Excellent departure point from O'Hare
By mrip78
Having a very early flight out of Chicago was made exceptionally easy and feasible by our stay at Holiday Inn Hotel and suites Chicago O'Hare-Rosemont. In addition, being able to park our car and [More] leave it during our time away was fantastic. It made us able to make it to the airport very early in the morning and not be rushed or hassled. We'd recommend this to anyone who might be in the same situation that we were in. We got a great night sleep and taking the shuttle was so helpful. [Less]
Great Customer Service
By Kate0716
The staff was amazing and very curtious and fun. They were able to answer any questions we had about where to go and what to do on our down time! The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed mad [More] you sink it and was the ultimate level of comfort. I would recommend this Holiday in if you want to be just a little ways away from down town but you still want the small town feel. [Less]
