Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods..

Things to See

Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.

Hotels in Boston

IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas, fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.

Where to Stay

Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.

How to Get to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.

Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

Great Location, Excellent Value

Must be the best hotel value in the Boston Metro area! Modern hotel within an easy walk to the T line into Boston/Fenway Park. Breakfast option is a bargain. [Less]
Comfortable and Convenient
By Nix9
I stay at this hotel when spending a week end in Boston. The Hotel is conveniently located at the T in Riverside. About a half hour to forty five minute ride into Boston. It saves time and [More] headaches versus driving into the city and is a much better value than staying at a hotel in the city. The Hotel bar and restaurant are excellent and the staff is always cordial. The rooms are comfortable and some have spectacular views of the Massachusetts country side. [Less]
Great Hotel...Horrible breakfast
By Rachel1428
Overall our stay was great! The hotel is right next to the t for easy access to Boston, however it is the last stop on the green line so depending on where you are going it could be a long train [More] ride into the city. Clean, modern, nice set up. My complaint is that we purchased breakfast when we booked. Our breakfast experience was horrible. Waitress placed us at a dirty table (which she did not clean off), did not give us silverware or the sugar/jelly tray. The waitress first got our drink order wrong (ordered 1 coffee, 2 oj, 1 water [Less]

I stay here frequently and it is like "home away from home" ! The staff is fantastic and goes out of their way to fix things that may not be something that takes place in their regular course of [More] business! I would highly recommend a stay if you are in the area! [Less]

Super Breakfast

Wide selection of breakfast food including crispy bacon (yum!) Good room, though setting was too cold to start, and clean bathroom. Pleasant, helpful staff. [Less]
Nice place

Pillows were great, Rooms clean and staff friendly. Location was good. [Less]
Very clean room and community rooms. Friendly, responsive staff
By ohk1120
The first day of arrival, we almost checked out. Very few guests other than ourselves, business neighborhood away from main road and restaurants, tiny bathroom and no swimming pool. We were without [More] a car so had to depend on shuttle or cabs. But we wanted to stay at a Holiday Inn south of Boston so we remained for the entire week. The cleanliness, increased number of hotel guests, and responsiveness and quality of the staff produced higher ratings at the end of our stay. [Less]
