Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods..

Things to See

Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.

Hotels in Boston

IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas, fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.

Where to Stay

Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.

How to Get to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.

Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

Perfect

The location near the T was exactly what we needed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel restaurant was a little pricey, but very [More] good food and wonderful service. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! [Less]
My stay at Indigo Boston
By Jaja99
My first impression after travelling for two days and staying at whatever accommodations on the way and paying for really sloppy disinterested accommodations, was what a big difference this hotel is. [More] It looks very new, clean and welcoming and the rooms are clean and I would say care was taken to design and decorate the room to make it comfortable for the guests. Love your room and the clean lines the furniture makes. And best of all there was a Kuerig coffee machine in the room with adequate supply of coffee and, imagine Green Tea. I am impressed. Oh by the way, I had the most wonderful sleep in your hotel, with minimum noise at night. Parking was also adequate and convenient. I must comment on the friendliness of your front counter and the two girls who manned it when I was there. They were exceptional and you know that they care because they are so enthusiastic., I am impressed with this hotel and I have stayed in four star hotels or five star hotels before, and I can say your service are equivalent. A few observations I would like to make however. Fridge and microwave are standard features of all hotels nowadays and they are expected by guests especially in a hotel like yours. You can incorporate the charge in the room rates if you want to, but however, if you offer it and wanted to charge a mere $15 for them, then it works against the image you are trying to create. Why do your management spoil the whole effect of what you want to create by a mere $15 fee. Customers will either think your hotel is cheap or they feel like they are being charged extra for what they do not have to pay anyway. So scrap that. You should also have certain floors, lower floors especially if you want to pamper the pet loving guests. If the floors are not designated then pets can be seen going up and down the elevator. I am highly allergic to dog hair and imagine my shock getting on the elevator with a dog. There are as many people allergic to pets as there are guests who want to have their pets with them when they travel. Other than that, I would strongly recommend this hotel because it is clean, welcoming and friendly [Less]
No Maid Service
By HappyDoodle
Candlewood had a notice that there is only linen service once per week. To be more transparent, they should also note that they will not make the bed, empty the trash, sweep the floor, rinse down the [More] shower, or clean the toilet during your stay. [Less]
Great property
By Seth16
The Candlewood in Burlington is a great property. The staff at this location is fantastic. Some of the rooms may have issues that don't interfere with productivity much (non-functioning ice maker, [More] bathroom door that doesn't lock, slow draining tub, etc). Overall, it's great and the staff really makes this location. [Less]
Clean, comfortable, quiet
By Cadler213
Nice hotel, a stones throw away from restaurants. You can walk to them from the hotel. Clean lobby, friendly staff. Clean room , nice linens. Easy to park. I missed having breakfast available in the [More] morning. I could have bought something and used the kitchenette. It was quiet. Liked the way the window was. It was private. They don't have daily cleaning. I was actually ok with that. I don't need cleaning daily. The soap and shampoo was not good at all. soap was harsh / cheap. I usually bring my own. I'll be sure to next time. I will stay here again. Walking down to dinner after working all day was really nice. An easy stay!. [Less]

The best staff work in Boston
By IronMiner
The Intercontinental Boston is a truly great great hotel, and a benchmark for others. Great room, luxurious of course, and spacious by any measure in the US. But the hotel should be most proud of [More] its staff. They are a credit to the hotel and to IHG. On every occasion, not only provided what was asked but went further and exceeded expectations. Really makes a person want to stay there longer. See you again soon Boston !! [Less]
