Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods..

Things to See

Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.

Hotels in Boston

IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas, fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.

Where to Stay

Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.

How to Get to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.

Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

Always my first choice !

Candlewood Suites offers a fantastic room with a great work area to spread out my computer and printer, along with a great kitchen to cook my own meals. The bed is extremely comfortable and each [More] Candlewood I stay at in Braintree Ma. and Burlington Ma. are accessible to major highways, yet set far enough back to be free from noise. The free coffee on the way in and on the way out is very valuable and the laundry is excellent. I can not say enough about the staff and their commitment to a high service level with a friendly smile in both locations and I repeat with both when I am on my performance tours in the Boston area. Nice modern hotel
By MichaelFromLI
I'm going to be spending a lot more in the MA area so it was nice to find a hotel in a central area to most of my business. The hotel still has the new look and feel and the staff was friendly from [More] the front desk to the breakfast area. Parking can be complicated with the restaurants on the property where there are a lot of restricted spots. If you are not from the NE and expect to find biscuits and gravy as I have at most other Holiday Inn Express locations you will be disappointed. Overall it was a good experience. [Less]

HIE Woburn team delivered without fail. I have stayed at this property numerous times over the past three months. The competent and conscientious staff made sure each stay was as good as the last. [More] Special shout outs to Alexandra and Molly-- Alexandra who greeted the guests each morning with the complimentary breakfast and Molly, the friendly front desk professional with remarkable attention to detail. The service, quality and cleanliness have been consistent. Hands down, great value. [Less]
Great property and stay
By Steve10987
We went to Boston for a one-night leisure stay – shopping and eating. Hotel is in a nice area that has really experienced a lot of positive development over the last few years. While the location is [More] a little more of a walk to get to some of the attractions (Aquarium, Faneuil Hall) and restaurants, it is a nice walk. The property is fairly new, clean, and very comfortable. Our level of service was very good for the short period of time we stayed. We love Boston and would definitely consider staying here again. Overall, great hotel: very well situated for both business and pleasure, great staff (very friendly and very helpful). Spacious and clean rooms with wonderful bathrobes. The showers could be a bit [More] hotter but overall very nice. Fast and reliable wireless and a nice fitness center. I'd definitely stay here again (in fact, I've stayed here three or four times and my experience is consistent). [Less]
