Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods.
Things to See
Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.
Hotels in Boston
IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas,
fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.
Where to Stay
Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.
How to Get to Boston
Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.
Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

I am a regular here for all the right reasons
I travel for work and Woburn, MA is essentially my home for the next 6 months. I initially chose this Holiday Inn Express due to the proximity of my workplace, but I found many other reasons for [More] staying. The front lobby and the rooms are very clean and the hotel staff is friendly. I once had to come into work extremely early in the morning and afterwards, needed to check in around 9:30 AM (normal check-in time is 3:00 PM). I begged the front desk if a room was available sooner - i had to beg since I was essentially homeless for a couple of hours - but the person from the front desk went above and beyond and got me a room within 20 minutes! I realize that this may not be the case all the time, especially if the hotel is completely booked, but I was very happy that she was able to secure a room for me, many hours prior to the normal check-in time. I will be coming here regularly until I am no longer working in Woburn! [Less]

My stay at the Holiday Inn-Brookline was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff attentive and courteous. The meeting facilities and food were also above [More] average. My overall impression was very positive. [Less]

Pet freindly hotel local to great food and all Boston has to offer. [Less]
Great Value
By HankM
Once a year I attend the same convention and the organizers always offer discounted hotel rooms at a competitor's venues. I usually look these over and ultimately conclude that HIE is the best value [More] and convenience for a hotel in the vicinity of downtown Boston. The shuttle service makes getting to downtown and the convention a snap, and the proximity of the the subway to the hotel makes getting back to the hotel easy at any hour. Parking is free, not "discounted". The free breakfast while predictable, gives me a great start without loosing time in the morning. The rooms are well equipped and the hotel is compact so getting to the "front door" fast and convenient. [Less]
Great location, fantastic staff
By Jobbers
Whether you need to get in to town or want to drive out, this hotel is in a fantastic location for both. Rooms are of a good size and have good amenities; breakfast is plentiful and Miranda is [More] excellent at making sure that everything is well stocked. All the guests love her. It's great that tea/coffee/juice is available all day. Lounge areas good and comfortable; mini gym and laundry room tucked away. On reception both Gina and Carol make you feel like part of the family. Carol was like that lovely pair of slippers that you crave after a long hard day - so full of warmth, welcome and her smile is like a big hug. [Less]
Good hotel outside center of Boston with easy access to public transportation
By BB_tuuba_1
I stayed 3 nights at the HI Express Boston for a business trip. There was something unusual going on in Boston, as hotel prices were very high at the time throughout the city. The Holiday Inn [More] provided an excellent price-to-value ratio with its clean and comfortable room, included breakfast, reasonably-priced airport transportation, and small, but sufficient gym. For a foreign visitor to the USA, also the proximity of a Target store and a few specialty stores, along with a couple of reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance were a definite plus. HI Express breakfast is standard, but as it is always included, it's a nice way to start the day, in particularly for a business traveler with no possibility to expense meals. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Andrew station on the red line of the Boston subway system. The station is on the other side of the freeway, but there is a bridge right next to the hotel leading to the station, which is only one block away. [Less]
