Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods..

Things to See

Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.

Hotels in Boston

IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas, fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.

Where to Stay

Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.

How to Get to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.

Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

Far Exceeds Expectations
By PAT VA
I continue to stay at this property for every business trip to the area as the staff are attentive to my needs and are always there to help. The appointment of rooms are well above industry standard. [More] Comfortable settings within each room that will enable you to relax, make that conference call in private, plan your meeting, or watch a movie. [Less]
Just okay
By Kellyk99
This is the 3rd time I've stayed here. The first two visits I was upgraded to a really awesome suite. This time I wasn't and what a difference if you don't have a suite! The room was kind of dated, [More] was only sorta clean and pretty average. The suites are amazing with the giant bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen area. In my regular room, I'd like to see updates. Even waters provided would be nice -- or even at a cost. I realized when I was getting ready for bed that they didn't provide water and had to call down to the front desk. Seems like a no brainer to offer them. [Less]

Good value for the money
By maudette
Over good experience, only a few glitch. the bathroom fan would not shut off, so there was a constant humming noise. Also, you must shut off the heater, it is very noisy, maybe its just me but I like [More] quiet when I sleep. Staff were very friendly and courteous. It started to rain and lend my an umbrella, nice touch. [Less]
