I enjoyed my stay at this property. Front desk representative, Leon, greeted me warmly and was extremely accommodating. Yuly was also very nice during check out the next day. My room was clean, [More] comfortable and everything I expect from Candlewood Suites. The only minor issue I had was the AC units are the kind built into the wall, just under the window. While it was certainly cool (downright cold at some points) the room was crazy humid inside. I mean, it felt damp. I'm not sure if I had the AC too low and that's what caused it, but it wasn't a big deal. It's also no one's fault, just one of those things. Overall, the property and staff are great and I would definitely return again. [Less]

This hotel was very nice, very well maintained, and very clean. the staff was friendly and courteous and it was also great and convienent to have a restaurant there on site so I did not have to fight [More] traffic to go dine anywhere. It definitely was a great hotel experience [Less]
Stopped on the way to a cruise

We flew in from Orlando and spent one night at the hotel as a layover on the way to the cruise ship out of Galveston. The shuttle service to and from the airport was very helpful. The hotel is [More] older but updated nicely and very clean. The restaurant is on property and a good value. The dinner selection was great, quality very good and the portions generous. The only negative is that the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. It turned out to be a false alarm. We were thankful our room was on the third floor (didn't use the elevator). Great staff at this hotel! Front desk staff was awesome and very, very personable! Room was nice, but was touchy getting the temp. just right, but eventually got it! Had no noise issues at all and [More] enjoyed staying there more than most other hotels I'm in through out the year! [Less]

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. However, the TV did not get very many channels and kept cutting out saying no signal. No continental breakfast that I was aware of. [More] Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. [Less]
