Great hotel in central Pensacola. Staff were excellent at front desk and restaurant/room service. Beautiful restored 'historic' areas of what used to be the train station.
Issues - not on the beach
(!), gym a bit tatty (the single weights machine seemed to be broken), no whirlpool/Jacuzzi or indoor pool. No painkillers at front desk, so had to wait 20 minutes for someone to open the gift shop to be able to get some (yes, it would have been quicker to walk to a pharmacy). Trains passing at night sometimes woke us up (e.g. at midnight and 5-6 a.m.) with their whistles (not sure what they could do about that though). [Menos]
