I stayed in this hotel as an Ambassador member. I booked a Club room and was upgraded to a Club Junior Suite in 9th floor.
The Club lounge is petite but functional. Breakfast is great and evening
service is nice. The slight difference between this hotel and many other InterContinentals in the world is that this hotel operate a hornor bar system. It means if you take any alcohol drinks you suppose to write down your name and room number so that a proper charge can be posted. It has something to do with local regulation, I guess many people like me would find it awkward at the beginning.
I like the location of this hotel the most. It is so close to the bus stop where Toronto City Airport bus terminates and it is a short walk to union station where you can take a train to the main airport. It is one convenient transit stop if your final destination is other parts of Ontario or Toronto.
I have not tried its restaurant in house so can not comment. I hope the hotel can extend Club lounge breakfast to the normal restaurant. The Club breakfast is nice but not sufficient enough. Overall it is a great stay. [Less]
