Featured Ashford Hotels

Stay among apple orchards and traditional English "oast" houses when you book at one of our Holiday Inn® Ashford hotels. Tree-lined streets flanked by medieval and Tudor buildings bustle with shoppers while the nearby Eurostar speeds visitors to the continent.

Set in the heart of the English countryside, Ashford's ancient center buzzes with the modern conveniences of 21st-century life. Visitors and locals pass by one of the few remaining First World War era tanks as they browse the wide selection of independent shops or head for coffee in a street-side cafe. Minutes from our Ashford hotels is the New Mill at Willesborough, a fully functioning Victorian windmill and now a fascinating museum filled with vintage bicycles and mopeds. Henry VIII's former home at Leeds Castle is just a short drive from our hotels in Ashford. With its fairy-tale turrets and deep moat, this is to many the quintessential English castle.

Ashford's small town center is crammed with lively cafes serving fast and affordable light lunches. The local pubs, which pride themselves on their warm welcome, make cozy spots to settle in for a long evening of dining and sipping pints of traditional "real ale"-unfiltered cask-conditioned beer. Bargain hunters make a beeline for the deeply discounted goods at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, a center for 80 designer brands and close to our Ashford hotels.

Book into one of our Ashford hotels to experience this vibrant historic town and its leisure-time pleasures. Venture out from our Ashford hotels into rural Kentish for hikes in the countryside and tasting tours at Biddenden Vineyards, which is putting English sparkling wines on the map and producing that most English of beverages, cider.

While still in my view the best of the Holiday Inns and Premier Inns in the Ashford area, Ashford North Holiday Inn does not seem to be quite what it was. Guests arriving after dark need to be [More] careful when entering their room for the first time. The rooms do not have central lighting. Beware of sloping ceilings while groping for individual light switches. Guests with special dietary requirements will need to be careful with the self-service cooked breakfast - the risk of cross-contamination between trays seems great. But the place is clean and the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. [Less]
Good Value

Out of town but only 20 mins from tunnel. Rooms large with 2 double beds but could do with better overhead lighting. Bathrooms bright [Less]
Excellent Stay
By Platinum_Paul
This was the second time we stayed here on the return leg of our holiday, and as with the earlier stay the room was superb for two adults and two children. Large, so plenty of space for everything to [More] spread-out and a separate area with two single beds for the kids. I have had better breakfasts at other hotels, but is was more than adequate. Decent hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Food's a bit ordinary, but otherwise a decent place to stay. [Less]

Quick Visit

Stayed here several times. It is convenient, and usually fine. This time main bar with most seats had Sweden vs Denmark on TV whilst England Vs France was in lobby. Would have thought someone [More] would have figured out what was more important [Less]
Hotel Bathroom following recent refurbishment
By PGP007
I stay in the same hotel about once a month and have done so for several years. I know the hotel and its staff reasonably well. Regrettably the hotel bathrooms are being refurbished. They are being [More] reduced in size and the baths are being replaced with showers. Previously the bathroom housed a full length bath, a fixed shower and a flexible shower head. It was a real pleasure to relax in the bath and to wash hair with the flexible shower head. Now all you can do is to wash in a relatively cold shower room. Apparently some of the rooms with connecting doors to the next room have a bath. However it is a small "hip" bath and the noise attenuation from the next room with the connecting door is unacceptable. I don't want to hear what the people in the next room are doing when I'm trying to sleep. [Less]
Value for money

Good Service and Value for Money... Public area needs modernisation... Would stay again if in the area. [Less]
Clean and comfortable
By peppelino
We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and welcoming. The bathroom was exceptionally clean but the hot water system made it difficult to have a really hot [More] bath, not very user friendly. We had a family room with three grandchildren, they slept well on the single beds and enjoyed seeing the hares hopping around the garden in the morning. [Less]
