We checked in after a long journey from Cambridgeshire.
During check-in, a member of stay who arranged the accessible room and Disabled parking at the from entrance of reception greeted us. She
was polite and very helpful.
I requested and pre-arranged a complimentary connecting room adjoining to each other for my registered carer but on arrival was told this was not available as it had been booked out to someone else. Nevertheless another carer's room was offered two doors down which was ok but rather inconvenient for my carer to wake in the middle on of the night to check in my accessible where they had to walk down the corridor. The connecting room would have been better since I suffer with Cancer and heart problems this would have been convenient for so that the door in between the connecting rooms could have been left open and my carer can keep an eye on me instantly. This was not possible since the carer's room was two doors down the corridor.
Other than the above issue, the rooms were spacious and beds were extremely comfortable - would like to know the made and brand of the matresses/beds?
The shower was very powerful in the accessible room and the carer's room.
Breakfast was great with very tastie scrambled eggs, crossiants, cerals, porridge and fresh fruit.
All the reception staff, house keeping was great. Very helpful indeed at all times.
A very clean and highly commendable holiday Inn Express.
Thank you so much. [Less]
