It may be Scotland's second city, but stay in one of our Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotels and you'll soon see why Glaswegians are so fiercely proud of their city. It's a wonderful mix of Victorian architecture, juxtaposed with contemporary style, brought alive by a sense of vibrancy and excitement seldom seen elsewhere.
A former European City of Culture, Glasgow certainly knows how to live up to the title. Offering more than 20 museums and galleries, plenty of green spaces, and striking buildings, you won't have to wander far from your Glasgow hotel to find a gem or two. Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for example - which houses some of the most important art and artefacts in Scotland.
Unlike the neighbouring capital Edinburgh, Glasgow has more of an edge. It's easy to enjoy both cities from one base (they're only one hour apart), and a hotel in Glasgow opens the door to unique diversions. 'Old firm' footballing rivalry between Celtic and Rangers. The 'Golden Z' - with its miles of pure shopping heaven. The Arches' live music and The Strand's comedy shows, or some traditional bar hopping and night clubbing - all exciting possibilities.
Check in to one of our hotels in Glasgow and experience this unique city soon.

I booked 2 rooms for my friend and myself and I was really pleased with my experience. The staff was really helpful and could not do enough for you. My friend has been before and enjoyed herself. She[More] was very pleased with the location of the hotel as it is close to the concert hall.[Less]
Holiday Inn - Glasgow Theatreland
Vey nice holtel, easy to find from Airport, and easy to travel in and out from. Parking just across the road. Overall stay for business very good, would be probabilly better it it was for leisure.[Less]
We usually stay at one of the nearby Holiday Inn Express when staying in Glasgow, but as was a special occasion I decided to treat ourselves to a stay in the holiday inn. Whilst the staff were great[More] and the decor was all very nice, the room was small with only a tiny window so no natural light. The bath was only 3/4 size so no chance of 6ft me getting a relaxing soak!
Disappointed in the room- didn't spoil our break in Glasgow but didn't give the extra bit of 'special ' I was hoping for.
Will go back to the HIE for good size rooms (and breakfast included! )[Less]
Holiday inns Scotland

For the past six months while on business in the UK, I now always opt for Holiday inn express rather than competitor. All the Holiday inn express sites I have used in the last six months provide[More] excellent service, now I say goodbye to the competitor because even after staying on average sixty nights per annum they never offered a loyalty scheme over the last decade.[Less]
