Great staff, convenient location
By Tommy D
The hotel accommodations exceeded expectations, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who promptly proceeded with my check-in. Our room was comfortable and clean. This location was chosen for it's [More] proximity to George Mason University and to the Metro DC area, as well as dining options available in the area. Our overall experience was very relaxed and enjoyable. [Less]
Great service and comfortable room
By ladybanker
This is a great hotel for a business stay in the DC area. Good value, great location and the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. The room was comfortable and the spa amenity kit was [More] an added bonus. [Less]
Good place to stay during snowstorm
By NVA Chick
General manager Trish Drews and the rest of the staff did a fantastic job of accommodating guests during the blizzard of January 2016. There were hundreds of teenagers there and their return home had [More] to be delayed because of the weather. Ms. Drews got the idea of having the students participate in a snow sculpting contest during the blizzard. The GM asked me to be one of the judges, which wasn't easy because the students were very creative with their snow sculptures. And I was very glad to be able to keep my car in the parking garage during the blizzard. [Less]
Nice renovated room

Room was clean and comfortable. 500 points of welcome bonus has never been posted. [Less]
Crowne Plaza Dulles

The hotel's main lobby was under construction - this did not concern me other than the disappointment that some how the lobby being under construction warranted the Executive Lounge on the 7th floor [More] to be closed. I specifically booked on the Executive Floor to take advantage of the Executive Lounge. The family in the room next to me had two small children who must have been taught to cry, scream and pound on the walls when staying at a hotel. I don't fault the hotel for this other than they booked a family with small children on an Executive Level of the hotel. My stay was scheduled for 2 days which turned into 6 due to the blizzard. The hotel did a very good job of pre-planning to accommodate guests by having staff plan in advance to stay on property during the storm. The housekeeper on my floor - don't know her name - was an employee I would hire ten times over! Very efficient, very pleasant and always had a smile on her face. Byron in the restaurant was also very pleasant and made arrangements for guests to access the restaurant without having to exit the hotel during the blizzard conditions. [Less]
Awesome stay
By Mr. Pogi
Thanks to all the staff for my wonderful stay. Special thanks to Imane, Maroofa, Ana. [Less]
Good location, but not mainline
By PLPOH
Overall the hotel is fine. The staff is Great. The location is my main concern. While the hotel is positioned good for site seeing in DC, the Hotel is on the wrong side of town for any after hours [More] activities. If you want to go out to eat, there is NOTHING, but the Hotel restaurant available. When I go back, I will look for something closer to the Verizon Center, which is also close to all site seeing, but also close to food. [Less]
Snow storm Jonas
By SeanGr8
I decided to stay in DC to photograph the snow in various places in DC. I chose the Holiday Inn Capitol based on its convenient location and the Holiday Inn Brand. Upon arrival at the hotel I was [More] greeted courteously. The room was in excellent condition and the amenities were excellent. The fitness center was very good. The staff was pleasant and responsive. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations for both variety and quality, but I would have appreciated a few healthier choices for the bar and restaurant menu. The food was good. If there is an occasion to stay in DC again, this hotel would definitely get my business. [Less]
This is one of the best hotels that I've been
By nataliya7
The rooms were very clean and the furniture brand new. We had exellent experience, and we will definitely come back when we visit Washington D.C. again. We had plenty of space and we felt very secure [More] in the hotel. Great customer service! [Less]
