Enjoyed my stay away from home. I was able to relax in my clean and comfortable room. The staff was attentive and greeted me with a smile. [Less]
Displeased with room temperature.
By DENALI08
The rooms are outdated and in need of a facelift. The Staff was excellent and courteous. The bed was comfortable and allowed for a good nights sleep. The HVAC was terrible. You could not control the [More] temperature and the room was at 84 degrees making it hard to breath and sleep. The A/C was nonfunctioning so there was do way to cool the room down. This issue makes me give the hotel a very poor rating. The restaurants, Bar and food where superb. The beef melted in your mouth. [Less]
Courteous staff

You desk manager asked me the reason for my stay and I mentioned that I had to attend a funeral and he offered to charge my stay at a bereavement rate. I appreciated it very much. [Less]

Great location, a little tired and in need of a remodel
By Buckley46
This property looks great from the exterior. It's location across from the university is convenient to freeways, restaurants and bars. The network of bicycle and running paths contribute to it's [More] appeal. With it's location, I'd expect that this property sees high occupancy rates, and the property's condition certainly reflects a need for a facelift. [Less]
Great place to stay if you're in Rochester for medical reasons
By rpm241

Incredibly Convenient to the U of R
By arlingtonmom7
My husband and I recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites at the University of Rochester. Its location is perfect - right across a pedestrian bridge from our daughter's dorm. The river views are [More] serene and beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and quiet - even with noisy fraternity parties going on across the river. Your hotel has everything we need when we travel to Rochester. [Less]
