Featured Aylesbury Hotels

Book a stay at our Holiday Inn® Aylesbury hotels and discover the thriving modern pulse of this historic market town and country seat of Buckinghamshire. Within minutes you will be admiring palatial manor homes or exploring a network of mysterious underground tunnels and alcoves.

Settle into our hotels in Aylesbury and start exploring Buckinghamshire's variety of historic attractions. Just minutes away is West Wycombe Park, the famous former home of the libertine Sir Francis Dashwood. In addition to the magnificent Palladian manor, the grounds contain the hand-carved Hellfire Caves, which were built in the 1740s as an atmospheric clubhouse for Dashwood and his high-profile friends, including Benjamin Franklin. To the west of our Aylesbury hotels is the neo-Renaissance grandiosity of Waddesdon Manor. Built on a bluff overlooking the surrounding countryside, the ornate towers and highly landscaped grounds at Waddesdon were modeled after the grand chateaux of France. Waddeson is the National Trust's second-most visited property.

Stay in our Aylesbury hotels and be close to the Waterside Theatre, in the compact center of town, where most of the town's restaurants and pubs are also located. Outside of Aylesbury, head out on the Roald Dahl Trail to visit sites where the famous children's author lived and worked, and some that were featured in his unique tales. All over the region you'll find welcoming pubs in which to warm yourself after a chilly stroll or sun-filled beer gardens to relax in during balmy summer days.

Book a room in our Holiday Inn Aylesbury hotels in July for the Roald Dahl Festival, when a parade of Dahl characters marches in the Aylesbury town center, or around Christmas, when Waddeston Manor takes on a festive look with brightly illuminated Christmas trees.

Reward Night at Mayor's Fundraiser
By StauntonBull
We had a relaxing swim before my wife got her pre-booked treatment at the Health Club. Bar service provided a sandwich after 15 minute wait and I enjoyed the online live streaming from F1 Brazil on [More] my Hudl. The fundraiser event was well organised and managed, we slept well and decided to get breakfast. Discovered that the Hotel management were dealing with a complete computer shutdown (very well) and sorting out everyones bills over breakfast. The staff in the restaurant didn't seem to have the same level of expertise though. Cold bread straight from the microwave ! Sloppy service and generally they looked bored. Enjoyed our stay and will be back soon. [Less]

A good short break
By Plucky35
We have stayed in holiday inn hotels in the past and enjoy the pool and spa treatments that the hotels have to offer, This one at Oxford is a good one with only its close main road location being a [More] negative point, I would like to point out this is not noticeable from inside the hotel and only your view is spoiled, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was of good quality and is a buffet style you can have exactly what you want, the evening meals were a little pricy for what you got and were of average quality. The facilities were great at this hotel the pool is warm and at least when we stayed was not over crowded, they do use the pool for kids swimming lessons at certain times of the day but the staff gave us a timetable so we could avoid these set times, The location is good with a park and ride being 5 min walk from the hotel and with in 20min you can be in the city centre with no car worries [Less]

Excellent staff comfortable bed and good value
By Nimbletoes
As usual impressed by Holiday Inn staff. The out of city location is quiet relative to City centre hotels and is excellent value compared to these. Only negative was selection of wines at the bar. [Less]

Regular visitor for business
By EHS_Andrew
Like most hotels in the area I find this one overpriced, but I used it extensively for a 12 month period due to it being the preferred hotel of my client. Since changing employers I have been unable [More] to stay here within expenses budget except on a Sunday night once, due to the reduced tariff. The staff are always friendly and most recognise me and know my name, so I always feel welcomed. I have not had any major issues here not resolved by the hotel, although one of my biggest issues is that the hotel showers frequently go scolding hot and then freezing cold, before returning to their set temperature. I have reported this frequently through different channels but it seems to be a fundamental issue that they cannot or will not resolve. [Less]
