Featured Glasgow Hotels

City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport - Glasgow goes by many names, and you need only step outside your Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotel to see why.

Scotland's largest city boasts lively streets, chalk full of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, a world-renowned music scene, beautiful parks, romantic architecture, and countless museums and art galleries.
Don't be surprised if you have to plan another trip to take it all in.

Our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Metropolitan Glasgow is divided into two major areas: the bohemian West End and the more commercial City Center, where you'll find Glasgow's main shopping, business and entertainment districts, as well as Medieval Merchant City, a must-see during your Glasgow hotel stay.
Despite its age, the real draw of Merchant City is its turn of the century buildings and houses, excellent examples of Glasgow's Victorian architecture.

There's upscale shopping on Ingram St., the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Necropolis Cemetery.

Next, indulge your cultural side with a trip to the West End, home of the prestigious University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The University area boasts an eclectic mix of eateries and boutiques and quaint tree-lined streets make it a pleasure to explore by foot.

Stop by the award-winning Ubiquitous Chip for upscale pub food, good wine, lively conversation and to see the Chip's famous mural by Glaswegian author and artist, Alasdair Gray.

Visitors to our Glasgow hotels will also appreciate the variety of family friendly activities this city offers.
The Glasgow Science Center has a science mall with over 250 interactive exhibits, an IMAX cinema, and the impressive Glasgow Tower, the tallest rotating tower in the world.

A trip to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park is well worth the trek out of the city.

There's beautiful gardens, a museum with prehistoric tree fossils and even a maze on the grounds.
Round out your Glasgow hotel stay with a traditional Scottish soccer game.
Glasgow has two professional teams, the Rangers and the Celtics, and some of the biggest stadiums in the United Kingdom.

Great experience
By ell1956
Everything just worked with this Hotel. Having driven over 350 miles from Birmingham in the wind and rain ( including the M6 being closed) we needed everything to be easy....and it was. Without [More] question the staff we a credit to the Hotel and Scottish hospitality. They were efficient and friendly and took pride in ensuring that the clients were happy with their stay. This was just a stop off before spending a few days at Gleneagles and it was up there in terms of service. The quality of the Hotel is excellent and location close to an on site family restaurant made eating uncomplicated. [Less]
Nice relaxing break
By Karen91
My husband and I had a nice relaxing time. The room was very nice, the bed was huge, a bit soft though. But we had a good sleep. The breakfast was good. Variety of cereals, quasons, yogart, fruit, [More] toast, scrambled egg and link sausages and beans very nice. The staff were very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend a stay at the holiday inn express. We had a reward night so it was great. Places to eat nearby. We went to the Pizza Hut a couple of minutes away. The staff were nice there to. Excellent hotel with friendly staff
By riggy
We stayed at this hotel for one night only. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we were taken up to our room immediately upon arrival. The room was extremely comfortable with [More] all amenities that you could want. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and warm but we could also control the heating easily for during the night. We would certainly stay at this hotel again and in fact are hoping to get back in June. The self service breakfast was excellent and you could go back and help yourself to what ever you required. Nice Stay
By NorthernCockney
Another nice stay here. Staff friendly, room very clean. Only criticism I would have is the chairs in the restaurant are really uncomfortable. There is no cushioning in the bases of any of the them. [Less]
excellent staff
By Rob 21
Good value hotel in a very good position , staff were very friendly and obliging at all levels . The menu was quite large and covered most tastes including children , the breakfast gave plenty of [More] choice , the only downside was the dining area which was very tired needing decorating and new furniture , most of the tables wobbled and a lot of the chairs were saggy and you had to swap to find a sound one . My wife enjoyed the swimming pool and had a very relaxing massage. [Less]
