Featured Glasgow Hotels

City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport - Glasgow goes by many names, and you need only step outside your Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotel to see why.

Scotland's largest city boasts lively streets, chalk full of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, a world-renowned music scene, beautiful parks, romantic architecture, and countless museums and art galleries.
Don't be surprised if you have to plan another trip to take it all in.

Our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Metropolitan Glasgow is divided into two major areas: the bohemian West End and the more commercial City Center, where you'll find Glasgow's main shopping, business and entertainment districts, as well as Medieval Merchant City, a must-see during your Glasgow hotel stay.
Despite its age, the real draw of Merchant City is its turn of the century buildings and houses, excellent examples of Glasgow's Victorian architecture.

There's upscale shopping on Ingram St., the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Necropolis Cemetery.

Next, indulge your cultural side with a trip to the West End, home of the prestigious University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The University area boasts an eclectic mix of eateries and boutiques and quaint tree-lined streets make it a pleasure to explore by foot.

Stop by the award-winning Ubiquitous Chip for upscale pub food, good wine, lively conversation and to see the Chip's famous mural by Glaswegian author and artist, Alasdair Gray.

Visitors to our Glasgow hotels will also appreciate the variety of family friendly activities this city offers.
The Glasgow Science Center has a science mall with over 250 interactive exhibits, an IMAX cinema, and the impressive Glasgow Tower, the tallest rotating tower in the world.

A trip to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park is well worth the trek out of the city.

There's beautiful gardens, a museum with prehistoric tree fossils and even a maze on the grounds.
Round out your Glasgow hotel stay with a traditional Scottish soccer game.
Glasgow has two professional teams, the Rangers and the Celtics, and some of the biggest stadiums in the United Kingdom.

My Second Time Back At The Indigo Glasgow !
By MrElias
I stayed here in the Fall as a guest of a friend and they upgraded us because I was a 'Platinum Ambassador' even though the room was in my friend's name. That really impressed me and I wrote a review [More] that you could find if you wanted. Well...this time I returned as we were ending our journey through Scotland in Glasgow and of course I booked the Indigo..and on my points from IHG. I have already stated much about the Hotel in my last review and it still rests but I would like to add some more favorable comments. Being a member of IHG ...the recognition at reception couldn't have been more warm, professional and generous. Bec is a wonderful representative for this hotel as she has the real 'IHG' attitude of making you feel cared for and 'nothing is too small' the moment you meet her. I was in a standard room and entitled to a one level upgrade. She instantly put us in the top room which is listed right below the suite. She also gave us what had to be one of the quietest rooms in Glasgow where everyone complains of noise. Not with Bec. The room , although not gigantic, was pure Indigo. Boutique modern and yet cozy with a beautiful bathroom and sparkling clean. Great big flat screen TV and water, fruit and shortbread as I am Platinum Ambassador. And all this on points. We were offered a free drink at the bar and we enjoyed sitting there 'people watching' as we got ready to go to dinner at the recommendation of Bec's associate (a lovely young lady whose name slips my mind.). The Breakfast buffet is very, very nice for a hotel of this size and it also comes with a main dish that you order from the staff. The price was quite reasonable. Although one of the breakfast servers (who seated us and took our order) wasn't exactly in a 'great mood'....she did a good job as expected and the other server was terrific. All my previous remarks still hold strong for this little reasonable luxe boutique hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. [Less]
