Featured Glasgow Hotels

City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport - Glasgow goes by many names, and you need only step outside your Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotel to see why.

Scotland's largest city boasts lively streets, chalk full of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, a world-renowned music scene, beautiful parks, romantic architecture, and countless museums and art galleries.
Don't be surprised if you have to plan another trip to take it all in.

Our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Metropolitan Glasgow is divided into two major areas: the bohemian West End and the more commercial City Center, where you'll find Glasgow's main shopping, business and entertainment districts, as well as Medieval Merchant City, a must-see during your Glasgow hotel stay.
Despite its age, the real draw of Merchant City is its turn of the century buildings and houses, excellent examples of Glasgow's Victorian architecture.

There's upscale shopping on Ingram St., the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Necropolis Cemetery.

Next, indulge your cultural side with a trip to the West End, home of the prestigious University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The University area boasts an eclectic mix of eateries and boutiques and quaint tree-lined streets make it a pleasure to explore by foot.

Stop by the award-winning Ubiquitous Chip for upscale pub food, good wine, lively conversation and to see the Chip's famous mural by Glaswegian author and artist, Alasdair Gray.

Visitors to our Glasgow hotels will also appreciate the variety of family friendly activities this city offers.
The Glasgow Science Center has a science mall with over 250 interactive exhibits, an IMAX cinema, and the impressive Glasgow Tower, the tallest rotating tower in the world.

A trip to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park is well worth the trek out of the city.

There's beautiful gardens, a museum with prehistoric tree fossils and even a maze on the grounds.
Round out your Glasgow hotel stay with a traditional Scottish soccer game.
Glasgow has two professional teams, the Rangers and the Celtics, and some of the biggest stadiums in the United Kingdom.

Very Vibrant & Comfortable Stay
By nitinsai
Staff of Holiday Inn Express, Riverside are really very nice, soft spoken and helpful. The only thing is required to improve is the Breakfast options. For vegiterian's the options are very less. [Less]
Great place to stay

Warm, comfortable and welcoming. Great location overlooking the river and by the city centre. Recommended! [Less]
Good value
Good value for money! Hotel is well located, clean, room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff offer great service. The included breakfast is nice, but the coffee needs improvement (it tastes [More] like instant coffee, but I'm not 100% sure if that's the case). I also found the room a bit noisy at the times, but noise was coming mostly from the hallway inside the hotel and not from the street (some people talking a little too loud or slamming doors). Overall, I recommend the hotel. [Less]
convenient, comfy and great staff

Very friendly business or airport stay hotel. staff were friendly; internet works well, room clean, restaurant good. they could do with putting a shelf in the bathroom as there's nowhere to put your [More] stuff. bed was ok but a little firm for me. [Less]
Convenient and comfortable

One night stay prior to onward travel next day. Comfortable bed and complimentary wifi. Restaurant was surprisingly good - loved the deep fried string sweet potatoes. A Tesco located in the terminal [More] building opposite is good for water/wine etc. [Less]
Great location near Airport
By alky2
Stayed here on 13th February prior to flying on holiday. Have stayed here many times and the main convenience is that the hotel is directly across the road from the main terminal building. The rooms [More] in the hotel are nicely furnished, however I feel that it would be better if the beds were a little larger( King Size) . Probably not enough room to accommodate them in the standard rooms. On this occasion we dined at the restaurant, the food I thought was fairly average although not bad enough to complain about and on this occasion our waiter brought our mains before my wife had finished her starter. He did realise his mistake and returned them to the kitchen. I am already booked to stay here again soon but might opt to eat elsewhere. [Less]
Recommended - Lovely Hotel

Excellent centrally located Hotel at a reasonable price. Breakfasts not great - sausages (mealy) No cheese in cooler. Orange juice tasted like watered down quosh. Think Holiday Inn could improve on [More] breakfasts. Rest, coffee, toast, cereal etc was good. [Less]
