Nice property at a good price.
Second stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Had a conference at the Olympia so this hotel offers very good value for the area. My room was in the newer building with a full-size bed, small desk and
couch. Sleep was very good, quiet and very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom is nice with a walk-in shower. I enjoyed the free breakfast although after staying five nights I wish they could change it up a bit. The convenience of having breakfast at the hotel saves a lot of time. The location is a bit of a walk to Earl's Court or West Kensington tube station. The immediate area lacks good dining options but a 10-15 minute walk over to Earl's Court or south down North End Road gives some good options.
My only complaint is with the room design. Holiday Inn Express new rooms do not include storage for personal items. No desk drawers or night tables or small cabinet. All your clothes have to stay in your suitcase or sit out in the open. This is a very bad design flaw. It makes me consider other hotel brands. [Less]
