The Staff at the Washington - Capitol has always provided great service. During my last stay the AC unit needed to be replaced. The repair staff, Clarence, was excellent. He took care of the problem [More] quickly and was friendly and professional. I always ask for this property when on business in Washington, DC. [Less]
Close, Convenient, Comfortable

We chose this hotel because of its location. But it also proved to be very clean and extremely comfortable. We parked our car once we arrived and never had to use it during our entire stay. We were [More] tired upon arrival and staff let us check in early. Cleaning staff always accommodated our requests as well. Restaurants in the lobby provided delicious food and friendly waitstaff . Hotel has comfortable beds and pillows. No annoying outside sounds. Rooms were quiet. Very conveniently located to The Mall and Smithsonian. Starbucks is in the lobby. IGH and the new Holiday Inn chain has converted me. The prices are competitive and the amenities way surpass your competitors. Thank you. I highly recommend this hotel. [Less]

Great choice

Good location, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious, a little expensive but the price was fair based on location. [Less]
Great Location with roof top pool.
By Dispatch45
Using the Holiday Inn as our base camp in DC proved to be an excellent choice. Once we parked the car at the hotel, we left it there the entire stay. We took taxis every where which were never more [More] than $15 to places we chose to start our touring. The roof top pool at the end of the day, was like an oasis in the middle of the hot city. The constant breeze 10 stories up made us all forget it was 95 degrees down on the ground. All the staff were extremely pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. Sleep quality rating low because of noisy neighbors with a shared room door [Less]
