Great bed, pillows and excellent customer service!
By Valleyraven08
We were greeted by very friendly staff and a quick, but thorough explanation of amenities was offered. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the pillow varieties, of [More] which the pillow type are stitched right into the pillow cases so they are easy to discern. The breakfast area was well staffed and very friendly. We could not have asked for a better stay while in Boise/Meridian. [Less]
clean, new and comfortable
By Olie57
This Holiday Inn is close to both Nampa and Boise area, It is also close to many restaurants and easy freeway access. I was visiting the area for business calls and hd no problem finding the hotel [More] although is is a bit off the main road and the traffic is a bit congested on the freeway exit at rush hour. Cross country trip

Our trip from Nebraska to Oregon was long with many miles per day. While on the road I was able to connect with Candlewood with my IHG membership and get a couple rooms just hours before we needed to [More] stop for the night. The manager allowed us to hold the rooms and gave us priority because of our IHG Spire Elite status. When on site getting the rooms we were treated with highest respect and the accommodations / amenities were fully explained in an efficient and knowledgeable manner. Accommodating our two canine family members was a great relief and made our stay worry free. The continental breakfast was great for our hungry family and a good start to our next day of travel. Our thanks goes to the staff for the exemplary service. [Less]

Better than most
By vacadon
We chose Candlewood over other hotels because of its pet policies. Our little dog is very clean and housebroken. Judging from the odors, there have clearly been other pets in the room previously that [More] were not so well housebroken. But the room was adequately cleaned and the lingering odors were not overly offensive. One of the rooms on our floor was being refurbished, and the odors of cleaning products and paints/adhesives was pretty strong most of the time in the hallways, but fortunately with our window opened most of the time it was not a problem in the room. The overall accommodations and access to surrounding areas was very good. [Less]

Comfortable bed and great service.
By FullStrut
The room was very clean and adequately lit. The bed was more comfortable than my personal bed at home. Best sleep I have had in several months. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom [More] was also well lit and there were adequate electrical outlets available to use. Great place to stay. [Less]

HEI Boise-University Area is one of my favorite hotels. It is completely reliable, well laid out, comfortable, and I always get a great night's sleep and breakfast. Very conveniently located for my [More] business. [Less]
