A bit far from the airport but good choice
By Dog Food Guy
Property does not have it's own shuttle service from the airport but Boise does provide a free shuttle service. The shuttle service was very adequate. Allowed me to complete a 3 day business trip [More] without renting a car. Property is located within walking distance of 3 good restaurant choices. I was checked into a King Corner room, the view was more than expected and the room included a micro wave and mini fridge. Would plan to stay here again. [Less]
Friendly Staff, Comfortable Room
By mh25
Staff on site was friendly. Hotel was clean inside and outside. Elevator did break down which led to some delays and frustration. [Less]
A Real Jewel

This is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting downtown Boise. The hotel is located near the Boise River, close to BSU Stadium, along the Green Belt. The rates are reasonable, the rooms are [More] clean and comfortable and it is a very short drive to downtown Boise. There are great restaurants within walking distance and the complimentary breakfast is the best I have ever had at a hotel. [Less]

I love this place! The beds are super comfortable and rooms are very quiet, you can not hear any outside vehicle traffic, rooms are very very clean and all of the staff was friendly. Look forward to [More] my next stay. [Less]
Great Property
By Chasing60Degrees
The room was spacious with modern upgrades. We were on an 8 day trip around the western states and stayed in 7 hotels. This was one of the best rooms of the week and it was a good value. In [More] retrospect, if we had more time on our trip we would have booked a longer stay at this hotel. [Less]
Pleasently surprised
By tonyc.
I actually called the Holiday Inn Express to book a reservation. It did not have any rooms. They recommended Candlewood Suites. They actually booked it for me. I was hesitant at first because I had [More] never heard of them. I was really pleasantly surprised when I got there. The girl at the front counter was very friendly and helpful. When I got to my room, I found it had a full kitchen with a real refrigerator and stove. I wasn't expecting that. I was just passing through town on that night, but I will definitely stay at one of these places in the future. [Less]

Always a great stay - the staff and the building are top notch!
By AndrewSFO
It's not downtown, it's not near anything other than the airport, but it's Boise, so everything is within a 5-10 minute drive. I always stay here when I come to Boise because in my opinion it's [More] the best mix of full service hotel and value of any branded hotel in town. The hotel is newish, the facilities are nice, and the staff is always welcoming and efficient. I like the layout since it was formerly some sort of suite hotel, so every room seems like there is a separate sleeping\sitting area, which is a nice touch you don't often see in a Holiday Inn. I'll continue to stay here because it's clean, modern, and convenient to the airport. Thanks for another great trip! :-) [Less]
clean, comfortable

Room was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Pool was nice, hot tub could use a little more pressure on the jets, but temperature was good. [Less]
