It's the little things that make the biggest difference when travelling and staying at hotels. These things include a free bottle of water when checking in, decent bathroom supplies, like shampoo,
and soap. Knowing that the bed spread has been laundered from the previous occupant, and others.
My issue here is the soap provided for the shower was a tiny little square of soap (same size as was provided for the washbasin) that barely fit into my hand. I realize that larger sizes must be a huge waste in the eyes of management in terms of one night stays as the soap barely is used. But, again, its those little things that make for a great impression and whether or not I will stay at that hotel again.
Soap can be and should be recycled at your hotels, so waste is eliminated. I know it may be a bit more work to do this, however the benefits outweigh the extra effort. You could even boast of this recycling service and get accolades from many groups for the effort.
I took the time and made an effort to say all this, I hope you will consider my thoughts. [Less]
